We just want to thank everyone that came by and showed support for Liam Pinheiro’s family yesterday! We appreciate your patience waiting in a long line and helping to show how special our town really is. While we know that no monetary amount can take away the pain of their incredible loss, the hope is that these fundraisers help with any financial burden to be able to take as much time as they need to grieve. We also hope the Pinheiro family can find comfort knowing they have the whole town standing behind them. Keep honoring Liam all through this week.

As our community mourns alongside the Pinheiro family, local businesses throughout Acushnet are coming together to help carry them through this difficult time. Every act of support is a reflection of the love this community has for one another.

We hope the Pinheiro family knows that they are surrounded by an entire town standing beside them with compassion, prayers, and unwavering support.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, participated, shared, and shown kindness. Together, we can remind this family that they do not have to face this journey alone.

As parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, neighbors, and community members, we cannot begin to imagine the pain the Pinheiro family is experiencing.

This tragedy has touched so many families throughout Acushnet, and we want the Pinheiro family to know they are not facing it alone. Our entire community stands beside them with love, support, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. It is with a heavy heart that we share this post and welcome you to support them this Sunday.

On Sunday, Acushnet Creamery, Blue Point Restaurant & Catering, and High Seas Restaurant will be donating a portion of our sales to support the Pinheiro family. Additional local businesses will be participating throughout the week, with more details to be announced.

We encourage everyone who is able to stop by, support these local businesses, and most importantly, help show this family that Acushnet is united behind them.
