Behind the scenes of making a wedding cake.
In this post, through pictures we will share with you the process of decorating a wedding cake from a based cake to the wedding destination.
This cake went to the the Lighthouse in Cohasset.

I have been to this location many times. I always remember the time I had to deliver before any other vendor was going to bed there. I had to pick up the key at the cohasset police department. It's such a charming place with gorgeous views but it can be a little tough to find as you can easily miss the street it's on.

Another week goes by....a new weekend wind up! I hope you had a great week, we had a pretty good one here at Cake Connections.

This week we had a couple of wedding cakes. One of our wedding cakes went to the Light keepers house in Cohasset. This destination has tons of great places to take pictures with the ocean as it's background. I had a delivery there about 10 years ago, this place is charming in its setting and...if you need to be the first one setting up for the wedding to the venue...you get the key from the police station. I'm not sure if that's the way it still is, but that's the way it was then.

I also did two behind the scenes shots with the two wedding cakes. I will be posting those through the week upcoming.

As always we'd like to thank our valued clients for sharing their life events with us. Your trust means so much!

Well I usually ask you to tell us which cake is your favorite but you don't have to, we don't want any of the cakes to get hurt feelings.

This week's weekend wind up

Hello fellow cake lovers. Here at Cake Connections , we like to review the last week's activities, we do this with a weekend wind up.

This past week we had something going on every day. We even ran out of frosting so there was a cake order I had to turn down, I'm sorry about that but we upped the production to accomadate more clients. Ya!!

We didn't need frosting for everything though. This week we did an awesome Patrick from SpongeBob cake. I hope the family liked it.
We also are donating some canoli to a good. Cause. It's a meat raffle being held at the Abington K of C. Its for a family that lost their home to a fire a couple weeks back. We do what we can to give back to our community.

There are many events coming up in the next few weeks. I know it doesn't happen every day but if you find yourself needing a cake, perhaps you could put your trust in Cake Connections and call 781-871-2032. I think you may like how we do things. And if you have given your trust to us. Thank you.
