HOW THE “WHOLE SHEBANG” WAS BORN 😂🔥
See that handwritten list hanging in the food truck? That’s my cheat sheet because the Whole Shebang is still new and there’s WAY too much stuff on this thing for me to remember! 😂
But that list actually has a story behind it…
Whenever my daughter worked on the food truck, she would grab a 3-lb boat and pile it FULL of all her favorites:
Mac & cheese, brisket, pulled pork, brisket beans, nacho chips & cheese, shredded cheese, pico, jalapeños, onions, pickles, sour cream and BBQ sauce.
Basically… THE WHOLE SHEBANG. 😂
Then my daughter decided to abandon her poor mother and go off to college at Sam Houston State University!! 🤣🧡
Before she left, she said, “Mom, you know what would taste really good? Put all of that on a turkey leg.”
Well… my daughter was RIGHT. 😂🔥🍗
And that is how the Whole Shebang Stuffed Turkey Leg was born!
It has quickly become our SECOND-BEST-SELLING stuffed turkey leg, right behind the Brisket Mac! 🤯
So if you see me staring at this cheat sheet while I'm making your turkey leg… mind your business. 😂 It's got a LOT going on!

Military Gate Admission Discounts!!

As a thank you to our Military, the West Texas Fair & Rodeo offers FREE gate admission for active duty, veterans, and retirees.

Due to the misuse of these discounts in the past, please see the following guidelines for Military Gate Admission Discounts:

Active Duty and immediate family will receive FREE gate admission, all must present their military ID as issued. (DEERS enrollment or dependent ID card) We understand children under the age of 14 may not have an id.
Veterans, spouse, and 2 children will receive FREE gate admission with the veterans ID.
Retiree, spouse and 2 children will receive FREE gate admission with the retirees ID.

We appreciate our Military and hope for understanding of our guidelines of only immediate family members receiving our free admission to the West Texas Fair & Rodeo.
