💃✨ October Member of the Month: Center Stage Dance Academy ✨💃

We are kicking off October by celebrating Center Stage Dance Academy as one of our October Members of the Month! 🎉

For 14 years, Center Stage has been teaching much more than dance right here in Abbeville. They have created a place where students can learn, build confidence, make friendships, and of course, have a whole lot of fun along the way! ❤️

Center Stage offers classes for dancers from 18 months old all the way through adulthood, including everything from their mini sessions for the littlest dancers to competitive dance and adult classes. One program we especially love is their Special Needs class for individuals with mental and developmental disabilities, making sure everyone has an opportunity to experience the joy of dance. 🥰

Owner and instructor Ali Miller brings more than 30 years of teaching experience to the studio, alongside an incredible team of instructors. And their impact doesn’t stop when the music turns off! Ali and instructor Emily Gaspard have volunteered their talents throughout our community over the years, creating award winning choreography for Kaplan High School BETA, Dancing with the Stars, and other local events.

We love businesses that don’t just operate in our community, but become part of it. Center Stage Dance Academy is a wonderful example of exactly that. ❤️

Please join us in congratulating Ali Miller, Emily Gaspard, and the entire Center Stage Dance Academy family on being named an October Member of the Month! 👏🩰

Keep dancing, Center Stage! We’re proud to have you as part of the Vermilion Chamber! 💃✨

🎉 **Celebrating Our September Members of the Month!** 🎉

Before we say goodbye to September, we have to give one more BIG congratulations to our September Members of the Month, Ray Chevrolet 🚙 and Southern Oaks Country Club ⛳️!

These two longtime Abbeville businesses have been serving our community, bringing people together, and supporting Vermilion Parish for years. ❤️

🚙 Ray Chevrolet has helped generations of families find the right vehicle and keeps them on the road with sales, service, parts, and a team that continues to call Abbeville home.

⛳️ Southern Oaks Country Club gives our community a place to play a round of golf, grab a bite, host an event, celebrate a special occasion, or just enjoy some time together. And after our Chamber Golf Tournament, we know firsthand that the course might humble you a little too! 😂

One can help you find a new ride and the other gives you somewhere to take it! 🚙➡️⛳️😂

We love getting the opportunity each month to recognize the businesses that make Vermilion Parish such a special place to live, work, and do business.

Congratulations again to **Ray Chevrolet and Southern Oaks Country Club**, our September Members of the Month! Thank you for supporting the Vermilion Chamber and continuing to invest right here in our community. ❤️👏

📚 Leadership Vermilion Class 12 spent September’s session learning about education and workforce opportunities right here in Vermilion Parish!

We started our day at the SoLAcc Abbeville Campus, where our class toured the campus and learned more about the programs and resources available to students and our community. We heard from the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and Adult Education programs and learned about the many different paths available for someone looking to continue their education, learn a new skill or advance their career.

A big thank you to the SoLAcc team for welcoming us and to Dr. Damien Glover for spending time with our class and sharing more about the work happening throughout SoLAcc. 💙

We also had the opportunity to visit the Vermilion Parish Career Campus, where Mr. Lonnie Richard showed us around and gave us a firsthand look at some of the opportunities available to our local students. One of our stops was the ProStart program, where we toured the kitchen, visited with the instructor and learned more about how students are gaining hands-on experience and career-ready skills before they ever leave high school.

Days like this are exactly what Leadership Vermilion is about. There are so many great things happening right here in our parish, and sometimes you just have to get out there and see them for yourself!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to welcome Class 12 and share what you are doing for the future of Vermilion Parish. ❤️

Congratulations to Pinchers Seafood Restaurant on winning Acadiana’s Choice for Best Seafood Restaurant! 🦀🏆 We already knew Vermilion Parish had some of the best food around. Now the rest of Acadiana knows it too! We’re so proud of y’all! ❤️

Remember that little secret we teased earlier today? 👀

Well… THE SECRET IS OUT!!! 🏆🦀❤️

Tonight, we attended the Acadiana’s Choice awards and we are incredibly proud to announce that PINCHERS HAS BEEN VOTED BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANT IN ACADIANA!

Wow. Just wow.

Five years ago, Pinchers started as an idea and a dream right here in Vermilion Parish. Tonight, we got to accept an award that says BEST IN ACADIANA.

And we know exactly who made that possible.

Our team. Our guests. Our community.

To our team — this award belongs to every person who has walked through our doors, put on a Pinchers shirt and helped build this place. Every long shift, every busy weekend, every plate served, every guest taken care of and every little thing you do when nobody is watching helped get us here.

And to our guests — THANK YOU.

You voted for us. You support us. You bring your families to our tables. You celebrate birthdays and anniversaries with us. You tell your friends about us. You keep coming back. And because of you, a little seafood restaurant in Maurice gets to call itself Acadiana’s Choice for Best Seafood Restaurant.

We will never take that for granted.

Tonight we’re going to soak this one in.

From the bottom of our hearts…

THANK YOU, ACADIANA!!!

🏆 2026 ACADIANA’S CHOICE — BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANT 🏆

Not a bad little secret to keep. 😉🦀❤️

💧🏠 Welcome New Member: Gulf Coast Restoration LLC! 🏠💧

We are excited to welcome Gulf Coast Restoration LLC to the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce!

Gulf Coast Restoration is a local, family owned company with more than 20 years of experience helping families and businesses recover when the unexpected happens. Their team specializes in water mitigation and dry out, mold remediation, fire and soot damage, flooding, demolition, and property restoration for both residential and commercial properties.

And this is a team that truly understands what their customers are going through. After personally losing their home, office, warehouse, and vehicles in the 2016 floods, they know firsthand just how overwhelming property damage can be. That experience is part of why they put such an emphasis on helping clients through the restoration process and getting them back to normal.

We are happy to have another locally owned Acadiana business joining our Chamber and serving our community when people need them most!
