In Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park — one of the last strongholds of mountain gorillas — that dream becomes a reality.

Uganda is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorilla population, with over 1,000 individuals now living in the wild.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Uganda Wildlife Authority and their partners, the gorilla habitat is being actively protected — and it's paying off!
