🇲🇽 We are in the most beautiful city in Mexico - Guanajuato

Guanajuato is truly a unique city. The fact is that the city was built right next to the mines, where precious metals were mined in the 18th century. Thanks to this, the city was the richest in New Spain (the so-called Spanish colony on the site of modern Mexico). Now, instead of trolleys with silver, public transport runs in these tunnels (even its stops are underground!), There are car parks right there and there are even sidewalks for pedestrians - a real underground city. Another feature of the city is its location. Although Guanajuato is located a long distance from the coast, the hilly terrain is responsible for the beauty here, thanks to which the city looks simply amazing from almost any high point. All these hills and mountains are strewn with small colored houses, which the locals paint in very bright colors.

🇲🇽 We visited the homeland of the Mexican cartel from the Narcos series - in Guadalajara (part 2)

Yesterday we wrote about how Guadalajara scared us, let's continue. Overcoming our fear, we went on foot to the very center of the city - to the square in front of the cathedral. And what was our surprise that after walking literally 15 minutes from our hotel, we got into an area where crowds of people walk, double-decker tourist buses drive, street musicians play on the streets, and the atmosphere resembles old European cities. As Mu learned later, the emptiness on the streets of the city (except for the central squares) was explained by the fact that it was Sunday - a day when almost nothing works in Mexico and the city seems to be “dying out”. As it turned out later, Guadalajara is just a beautiful city, which is the cultural capital of Mexico. Even at night on the streets of the city you feel completely safe.

The 67-year-old African Musa Khasahya, in addition to hundreds of children, has 12 wives and 586 grandchildren, and all of them must be supported. Since the level of a man's income has fallen, everything around is becoming more expensive, and there are more and more family members, it has become difficult to feed the family. Now Musa asks his wives to protect themselves.

Musa himself believes that one woman cannot satisfy a man, so he has more than ten of them. In addition, all his wives live with him so that he can "control" them and they do not go to others.
