The humans behind the service.

Yesterday, we closed the imaginary boardroom, borrowed a few jet skis and took the team out to play.

Some were fearless. Some were nervous. Some discovered a new talent for screaming at high speed. Everybody laughed.

Because good service isn’t only learned on shift. It happens when people know each other beyond the uniform. When we’ve been ridiculous together. Tried something new together. Cheered each other on. Laughed until somebody nearly fell off a jet ski.

We play together so we work better together.

And hopefully, when you walk into Lost Soles, you can feel the difference.

Her performance review has identified several areas for improvement, including sleeping during working hours, fraternising with guests and smiling when disciplinary matters are discussed.
