We secretly entered a coffee competition~

We were so lucky to catch the very first KDC. All we had to do was pay the shipping fee to enter. Basically, a free evaluation, right? Of course we had to enter!

Then we waited for the results until we were almost ready to give up. And somehow, we ended up getting 90 and 91 points.

Huh??? 🤣

We’ve only been roasting coffee for a little over a year, and this was our first time submitting to Coffee Review. So honestly, we’re pretty surprised and really happy with these scores.

Alright, back to roasting, back to cupping, and let’s keep going~ ☕️

昨天在玩氮氣咖啡配椰子水

看著半透明的椰子水，咖啡慢慢浮在上面
覺得好酷哦 ☁️

椰子香、花香，冰冰的 😋

Yesterday we were playing around with nitro coffee and coconut water.

Watching the coffee slowly float on top of the translucent coconut water was so cooool ☁️

Coconutty, floral, and served ice cold 😋

最近花了不少時間在調整直火機的烘焙曲線。

一直在想，中深焙能不能更甜、更醇厚，同時保留果香；淺中焙又能不能把香氣再往前推一點，讓產區風味更鮮明。

最近的測試，讓我們很有信心～
當然還會繼續調整，但這幾鍋，我們真的很喜歡 🤍

Lately, we’ve been refining our roast profiles on our direct-flame roaster.

We’re aiming for a sweeter, fuller-bodied medium-dark roast with fruit notes and no bitterness or astringency, while giving our light-medium roast a more vibrant aroma and letting the coffee’s origin shine through.

We’re really happy with how these roasts turned out 🤍
