The Pinot Nero Riserva Glen 2022 is one of the best finds we have had so far this year. Currently our Chefs Choice, we first tasted it during the Gambero Rosso celebration, which Divino participated in as one of the best Italian restaurants in town. To be honest we haven't been able to stop thinking about it since that first sip. It has finally arrived just as the Taipei summer begins to kick in. Since it can be served a little cooler than a typical red, this Pinot Nero offers impressive silkiness, elegance and length, being able to be paired with our seafood platter but can stand up to a steak as well with more temperature. That makes it a great choice no matter what 🍷 ❤️

The preparation of this dish starts in the pasture, with the care given to the animal to achieve this incredible marbling. We dry-aged this Sher Wagyu M9 Tomahawk for 60 days, and the result of this match between the highest quality beef and our aging process makes it more than just a steak. 致我們的貴賓與朋友:你們就是成就 Divino 的風土。就像一瓶上乘的 Barolo,隨著時間只會更加醇厚。這些年,我們見證了家庭的成長,陪伴了初次約會走向一生的承諾,也在無數瓶酒之間共享歡笑。

迎接蛇年,我們也將進入蛻變的時刻。就如同她一般,是時候 "換上新皮"。我們將暫時歇業,進行大規模整修,藉此更新精神,為下一個十年的款待做好準備。

A New Chapter for Divino

A decade ago, we began an Italian adventure in the heart of Taiwan. Since then, we have grown in ways we never imagined. While the years have added silver to my hair, they have also added wisdom to our service and depth to our community.

To our guests and friends: you are the terroir that makes Divino special. Just like a fine Barolo, you have only gotten better with time. We have watched families grow, witnessed first dates turn into lifetimes, and shared countless bottles in between.

In honor of the Year of the Snake, we are entering a period of transformation. Just like her, it is time for us to "shed our skin." We will be closing our doors for a significant renovation, a chance to renew our spirit and prepare for the next 10 years of hospitality.

The Rebirth: February 27th
