Tairroir, a simple but meaningful compund word,is fused by ''Taiwan'' in English and ''Terrior'' in French. With experience and belief, chef Kai and the team present a new concept about Taiwanese cuisine by French presentation to impress the testers then voice to the whole world .

Many thanks to Tatler Best Awards 2025 for the recognition.To be named once again among Tatler Best 100 Hotels, Restaurants and Bars
is both an honor and a gentle encouragement.

For Taïrroir, 2025 has been a year filled with creative energy and new inspiration.

Guided by the spirit of Satoyama and Satoumi, we continue to share the stories of Taiwan through the creations of Chef Kai Ho and our team.

This year, we put our belief in team-centered sustainability into practice — refining our space and details to create a more comfortable rhythm for our team, while enhancing a more thoughtful and complete dining journey for our guests.

Chef Kai Ho also joined a reality cooking program as one of the head judges, sharing his passion for cuisine, culture, and craftsmanship from a new perspective.

“Cooking has always been the most genuine way to connect with people.”

As we approach our tenth year, we remain deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way. We will continue to share the flavors and warmth of Taiwan with the world.

We are truly grateful to the Michelin Guide Taiwan for once again honoring Taïrroir with three stars.

This recognition belongs to all of us—to our team, the GOODLINS Group, our partners and friends in the industry, every guest who has shared a meal with us, and to the land of Taiwan that continues to nourish and inspire our work.

In 2025, we celebrate a new chapter with the opening of Chaud Doux .doux .
It marks a journey from the world of fine dining into daily life, guided by a simple belief: to cook with warmth and to care with gentleness. Our hope is to bring comfort, joy, and companionship to the everyday table.

In 2026, Taïrroir will turn ten. A decade is not only a measure of time, but also a reflection of the trust, love, and support we have received. Looking ahead, through the vision of Maison Taïrroir, we will continue to explore new ways of sharing gastronomy, so that our team can shine freely, and the flavors and hospitality of Taiwan can travel even further.

To everyone who has been with us on this journey, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We warmly invite you back to Taïrroir to celebrate the next chapter together.

Taïrroir—a fusion of “Taiwan” and the French word terroir - represents our journey from Taiwan to the world, telling stories through cuisine.
It is more than just a name; it is a belief that flavor is a language—one that conveys the breath of the land, the flow of time, and the traces of culture.

Our team places Taiwan at the heart of everything we do. Guided by the seasons and nurtured by the mountains and sea,
each dish paints a picture of everyday life, historical memory, and emotional depth.

Cuisine is our dialogue with this land—
a quiet gaze, a heartfelt response.

To us, terroir is not simply where ingredients come from, but a sense of identity born from the intersection of nature, culture, and daily life.
It’s something you can taste and feel—
the warmth in the air, the color of sunlight, the scent of city streets - leaving footprints through flavor.

By drawing inspiration from and reimagining the Japanese concept of satoyama and satoumi,

Chef Kai and the team turned their attention to the textures of everyday life,
seeking inspiration and emotion in the seemingly ordinary.

We refined the nature of cuisine,
the flow of our space,
and the warmth of our service—
to tell a flavor story of our time
with deeper emotion and greater nuance.

Now, we are ready.

the dining room rests, yet our thoughts continue to shape something greater.
Elsewhere, we continue to craft,
to perfect, to envision a return that is both familiar and renewed.

Our reopening date will be announced soon.

感謝Tatler Asia 的肯定,
態芮被選為亞洲百大具代表性的餐廳之一,
對我們來說是個相當重要的鼓勵。

2024 年,對 Chef Kai 和團隊來說,
是充滿祝福和支持的一年,
也是我們勇於突破框架、
挑戰更多可能的一年。

這一年,我們參與了世界各地的活動。
從歐洲的奧地利到亞洲的韓國、泰國、
澳門、馬來西亞,透過料理這種最能打破語言界限的方式,和不同文化背景的人們交流、分享台灣的故事。

除了地面上的餐桌體驗,
我們還將味道延伸到了「空中」。
和星宇航空合作,
我們為頭等艙設計了一系列餐點,
希望每位往返世界的旅客,
都能在高空中感受到來自台灣的獨特風味。

今年,Chef Kai 也參與很多跨界的合作。

感謝 Louis Vuitton 的邀約,
一起參與 Louis Vuitton Pop-Up Café ,
以優雅又輕鬆的方式,
帶給大家不一樣的用餐體驗。

透過跨界電視、電影等多元影音管道,
不論是參與西班牙導演執導的紀錄式電影《Budda Jumps Over the Wall》的拍攝,
成為紀錄片《品味》的主角之一,
還是擔任行腳節目《一碗江湖》的主持人,
Chef Kai 希望透過這些機會,
把台灣的風土特色、人文故事帶給更多人。

同時,Chef Kai 藉與唐綺陽老師的對談,
從星座角度分享個人生活和工作;
透過偉忠哥的訪談,
分享餐飲業的點點滴滴。
希望藉由多元的管道,
讓更多人有機會看到不一樣的熱情與努力。

今年是態芮的八週年,
我們推出了Kaïsa 菜單,
用一些看似簡單卻有點不同的料理,
和新舊朋友交流、
一起回味那些記憶中的味道。

一如往昔,每一步的踏出與累積,
我們希望能帶給大家更多驚喜與感動,
也期許透過這些努力,繼續把台灣這片土地的美味和故事分享給世界。

Being named one of Asia’s Top 100 restaurants is a huge honor.

2024 was a year of blessings and support for Chef Kai and the team, where we pushed boundaries and embraced new challenges.

We took part in events around the world—from Austria to Korea, Thailand, Macau, and Malaysia—connecting with people through our food and sharing Taiwan’s story.

We also partnered with Starlux Airlines, bringing Taiwan’s unique flavors to first-class passengers, offering a dining experience in the sky.

Chef Kai collaborated with Louis Vuitton at the Café Pop-Up, and participated in TV and film projects such as
[ Budda Jumps Over the Wall ] and
the documentary films as well as several radio programs, to share Taiwan’s culture and flavors.

This year, we launched the Kaïsa menu for our 8th anniversary, with dishes that bring back memories while creating new connections.

A huge thanks to the Taïrroir team,
our management team, and everyone who has supported us. We’re excited to continue sharing Taiwan’s stories and flavors with the world.
