Tiān Dé Hé originates from East Asian calendrical traditions and the philosophy of yin–yang. It describes a state in which the energies of Heaven and Earth are in harmony, and goodwill naturally converges.
* Tiān (Heaven) represents the rhythms of nature and the seasonal flow of time.
* Dé (Virtue) signifies the positive force and ethical order inherent in all things.
* Hé (Union) expresses convergence, balance, and wholeness.
When Tiān and Dé come into alignment, it marks a moment to move with the current—
where effort meets ease, and meaningful yet gentle actions arise naturally.
Nothing needs to be forced.
One simply responds, quietly, to the cadence of Heaven and Earth.
On such a day of alignment, we have chosen to present HOSU’s first overseas collaboration since its founding.
And as if guided by this very current, we are fortunate to be joined by Julia from Tokyo—a presence defined by elegance and a deep devotion to the land.
In the early days of summer, we gather what the season offers at its fullest:
fruits at their peak, tender shoots from the fields, and sustainably sourced seafood from nearby waters.
Carrying forward a shared spirit between Julia and HOSU—rooted in origin, grounded in place—
we present, on this day of Tiān Dé Hé, a table that reflects the richness of both Taiwan and Japan.
