Located in the heart of New York City, Double Chicken Please (DCP) carries the quintessential American Dream founded by two talents from Taiwan. Their journey began in 2017, and it wasn't until 2020 they established in the Lower East Side. Despite encountering numerous setbacks along the way, the determination and devotion led them to a remarkable achievement in 2016 when Double Chicken Please ranked #6 on the World’s 50 Best Bar list, earning the accolade for the highest new entry. Followed by 2023, Double Chicken Please was crowned #1 in North America’s 50 Best Bars. The bar has made its mark on the global stage.

Double Chicken Please positioned itself as a “design studio” in combination with humor and creativity through the lens of cocktails and hospitality. The cocktails' creations apply a “hacking design” approach to reconstruct a dish by its flavors and rebuild them into cocktails, such as Cold Pizza, Key Lime Pie and French Toast.

在Double Chicken Please (DCP)，酒單的靈感來自食物，而食物則受到酒單的啟發，營造出令人驚喜、愉悅和意想不到的感官體驗。DCP於2022入選「世界50大酒吧」就拿下第六名的驚人成績，2023年更在「North America’s 50 Best Bars 北美50大最佳酒吧」，拿下第一名的殊榮。

Located behind pizza palace Daroco Bourse, is housed in the former Jean Paul Gaultier flagship store. Its barmen’s nautical striped shirts are a fitting homage to the fashion designer. Brooklyn vibe with quirky wallpaper, velvet furnishings and a herringbone marble bar, while the soundtrack comprises upbeat ‘80s tracks…

This time we present to you Nico de Soto – the owner of Danico in Paris and in New York, and his five artisanal cocktails!

/About Nico de Soto/
Parisian born and raised, Nico first began bartending in Paris in 2005 where he was trained in the art of classic cocktails. His approach to drinks is inspired by travels and cuisine, always trying to get new flavors, combinations and techniques.

From Paris, London, to New York, Nico played key roles in prestigious bars including Experimental Cocktail Club, 69 Colebrooke Row, and Happiness Forgets. In 2015, he opened his first cocktail bar Mace in New York, which ranked 28th best bar in the World at Drinks International World’s Top 50 Best Bars. Following the success, he opened Danico in Paris, which is awarded as No.85 of The World’s 50 Best Bar and No.46 of Top 500 bars in 2022.

Named Diageo World Class HK & Macau Bartender of the Year 2019, Shelley is one of the brightest female bartenders in the industry.
Shelley moved to Singapore in December 2020 to helm Nutmeg & Clove. As General Manager of Nutmeg & Clove and its new sister concept, Chuan by Nutmeg & Last Word, the 31-year-old maintains high standards of service to deliver the ultimate guest experience. Working closely with Colin Chia, Founder of Nutmeg & Clove, to ideate new concepts,
she is constantly inspired by the variety of fresh produce and ingredients in Singapore, especially spices and herbs.
