the villa–herbs這個憑空想像的夢想於2001年在樂利路上開花綻放。座落在樂利路巷內的the villa–herbs，並沒有起眼的招牌，夜色中幽靜神祕的氛圍，在大安區寂廖的暗夜裡，很難不讓路過的人們駐足停留。一間餐廳、一間lounge bar，由雙併別墅結點而成的the villa–herbs，各是獨棟的兩層樓建築卻又相連在一起，戶外有互相流通的魚池，還有一盆盆香草、植栽打造出的小型庭園圍繞。簡約繽紛兩式風情，深入其境會發現內容大有文章，兩棟鑾生建築物是截然不同的天地，Herbs Restaurant與The villa分別代表「白晝」與「黑夜」，「保守」與「放縱」，「低調」與「誇張」。如此用心呈現，就是希望能為每位賓客營造用餐與酌情兩種不同的感官饗宴。
