tated service, and a warm inviting setting. The seasonal menu features contemporary cuisine with global flavors and a rotating list of boutique wines, craft beers, and exciting cocktails. Conveniently located in downtown Taipei, Longtail is open late every night and offers a variety of seating choices including cozy lounge, bar counter, and standard tables close enough to the kitchen to catch all the action. We accept reservations, but our door is always open to walk-ins, wayfarers, and anyone else who doesn’t believe in planning. Our goal is to make Longtail a second home where guests can visit at anytime to feel stimulated, welcomed, and remembered.

Rooted in the richness of our autumn menu, the festive Tasting Menu unfolds into a dazzling celebration of the holiday season🎊

For Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the entrée is elevated to a celebratory centerpiece.

Fresh, live red rock lobster, matured in spiced butter, then charcoal-grilled and brushed with our house-made rose fishbone sauce.

The interplay of shell aroma, ocean sweetness, and warm spices creates a vibrant, luxurious expression, perfect for the season.

The main course features a beloved signature dish from our seasonal menu—tender venison fillet, gently charcoal-grilled to seal in its natural sweetness and smoky aroma, served with demi-glace and fermented pumpkin purée for a delicate and harmonious balance of flavors.

Throughout this journey, we’ve shared laughter and tears, faced challenges, and celebrated breakthroughs. Every moment—big or small—became part of the foundation that shaped the rhythm and soul uniquely belonging to Longtail.

To everyone who has ever walked through our doors—thank you.
For every night spent eating and drinking with joy,
for every celebration and festive gathering,
for every memorable collaboration and unexpected culinary spark,
for the Michelin recognition received year after year,
and for all the irreplaceable moments that can only happen here—
every step of Longtail’s story has been meaningful because of you.

With gratitude and a touch of bittersweet emotion, Longtail will be taking a pause starting January 1, 2026.

Chef Erik以西式料理手法融合多重發酵技法,重新演繹「酸菜魚」、「口水雞」、「烤鴨」等經典中菜,為熟悉的味覺記憶注入嶄新的風貌與深邃層次。

主菜選用紐西蘭小鹿菲力,佐以發酵南瓜與特製多蜜醬,詮釋秋天的溫潤氣息與山林韻致。

首席調酒師Arthur以水梨、楓糖、地瓜、栗子與辛香料為靈感,運用澄清與低溫烹調等現代技法,打造與料理相映成趣的Cocktail Pairing,共譜一場秋意盎然的味覺饗宴。

Chef Erik reimagines classic Chinese dishes through Western culinary techniques and the art of fermentation, transforming beloved dishes such as Sichuan Boiled Fish, Mouthwatering Chicken, and Roasted Duck into creations.

The main course features tender New Zealand venison, complemented by fermented pumpkin puree and a signature demi-glace, capturing the warmth of the season and the earthy spirit of the forest.

Head Bartender Arthur draws inspiration from pear, maple, sweet potato, chestnut, and spices, using modern techniques like clarification and sous vide to craft a cocktail pairing that harmonize with the cuisine, composing an autumn symphony of flavor and aroma.
