Okay so it has been a tempestuous week or so .. but the FOOD!!!

So - tonight we put the finishing touches on the cauliflower garlic cream sauce .. And the Romesco sauce is WTF??? OMG that is good! .. yeah really .. I think you all know that I like my food and I like my cooking - and this might just be the best thing I've ever created ..

But the meat roll!!! .. In order to make this for the wedding we had to go to the meat importers/suppliers and ask them to kill and butcher a pig the right way for us .. I don't pretend to understand (yet) all the Mexicany goodness that Forly and Carlos put in there - I hope to understand this soon - because I need to know where good food comes from - but it is (holy f**knuts good!) .. The first trial was really good -- the second was OMG .. the final product will be "shut-the-f**k-up - you've -never-seen-anything-like-this before" ..

To be completely honest we can't even make it as good as it should be - because the poblanos make it spicier than most Taiwanese would like ..

There have been quite literally hundreds of hours of prep and planning going into this food-extravaganza ..

But come Sunday .. you will either have an opportunity to experience the best that we have to offer .. which is unlike anything you've ever experienced before .. or you'll have to make do with photos... That would be sad .

But We're only getting started - so the opportunity still exists to experience what we can do.

We spent 5 hours last night tweaking some exciting recipes .. Getting ready for an amazing spread next weekend. It's hard work -- but it's immensely satisfying .. Bring on the food!! - lol
