有時候長大後才發現，媽媽的愛，很少是轟轟烈烈的。

它可能藏在一句句不停重複的提醒裡、藏在每天準時準備好的晚餐裡，也藏在那些她從來沒說出口的疲憊裡。

還記得小時候補習班下課後，我總會被「寄放」在對面那間一鍋 $100 的小火鍋店。那時候的我，拿著 Nokia 3600 玩著貪食蛇，一邊等媽媽下班來接我，一等，就是一個小時。

但奇怪的是，那時候的我好像從來沒有抱怨過。

因為即使年紀還小，我也隱約知道，她正在努力工作，努力賺錢，只為了把我們好好養大。

長大後才懂，原來那些曾經覺得平凡的日常，都是媽媽默默付出的痕跡。

所以今年母親節，楓葉咖啡一樣想對所有媽媽說一聲：

「辛苦了，母親節快樂。」❤️

謝謝妳們用一生的溫柔與堅強，成為我們最安心的避風港。

你是否也有一段，被母愛深深渲染的記憶？🥹

Sometimes, we only realise how deep a mother’s love is when we grow older.
It’s rarely loud or dramatic.

Instead, it hides in the little reminders she repeats every day, in the meals waiting for us at home, and in the exhaustion she never talks about.

I still remember after cram school as a kid, I would often be “dropped off” at the little $100 hotpot shop across the street while waiting for my mum to finish work.

With my old Nokia 3600 in hand, I would sit there playing Snake for nearly an hour.

And somehow, I never complained.

Even back then, I think a part of me already understood she was working hard, doing everything she could, just to give us a better life.

As we grow older, we begin to realise that those ordinary moments were actually quiet acts of love.

So this Mother’s Day, again The Maple Cafe would like to say:

“Thank you mum, and Happy Mother’s Day.” ❤️

To all the amazing mums out there — thank you for being our safe place, our strength, and the reason we are who we are today.

Do you also have a memory that was deeply shaped by a mother’s love? 🥹
