龍川冰菓室 從竹廣市場到中華路，傳承四世代的好味道。

　　早期沒有冰菓室，都是用擔子挑著兩桶冰，裡面裝著清冰糖水舀入碗中，再淋上楊桃或愛玉、檸檸、仙草等配料。後來演變成冰菓室，呷涼兼填飽肚子，可說是台中特有的午茶點心。
　　「龍川冰菓室」經營超過一甲子，最早源自竹廣市場（後改稱第八市場），民國62年左右遷移至中華路現址。店內使用超過40年的老招牌跟桌椅仍然熱切地為顧客服務著，持續見證著歲月的痕跡。
　　店內的所有餡料，均是紮紮實實熬煮而成。招牌的木瓜牛奶搭配烤土司，其中塗抹上的果醬更是純手工製作的古早味。傳統口味的蜜豆冰、紅豆牛奶冰及水果冰等，也深受在地民眾喜愛。
