Why do we call Avocados "Zaboca"?

"Zaboca" it is part our French patois (French Kwéyòl). "Les Avocats" is French for avocados. When this french phrase "les avocats" is verbalized, it sounds like "layzavocah". You can see how over time and being repeated by persons whose first language wasn't originally French and them not knowing how to actually spell it, that the phrase "zaboca" developed over time. 😊❤🇹🇹
