Original Bar B Q Hut, dated as far back as 1997, but became incorporated on December 5th 2008, which started with four Bukhal brothers (David, Kamal A.K.A KB, Sohan Alan A.K.A The Kernel, Sasenarine A.K.A Popee )in the establishment. With just two (20×20 tents) and five tables. They were no stranger to food industry since in the 1980’s, they started as mere boys washing wares and folding boxes. However, David Bukhal (The Incorporator) recognize that in Trinidad and Tobago, there was a growing concern for Muslims back in the 1990’s, since chicken and chips was quickly becoming the main FAST FOOD. He then decided, to pioneer HALAL chicken and other meats creating an outlet for Muslims and non Muslims alike who wanted clean Kosher food and created the first ever HOMEMADE GARLIC BUTTER, to complement the food. In response to changing consumer tastes in the 1990’s, the company has expanded its menu to include their original sauces to complement the variety of food being sold. David reorganized his business as a Bar B Que Hut using production line principles. The company’s rapid expansion was overwhelming. Today, Original Bar B Q Hut, extended their footprint from South Trunk Road, Bel Air, La Romaine to Cipero Road, Victoria Village, San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago. Sitting on 3 acres of land and with a staff of over 50 workers and has extended its family arm to include the children (Cashmirr, Abdul Qadir, Khadijah, Kamron, Jaleena, Celine, Aleem, Aleema, Alena, Ahmad). Original Bar B Q Hut primarily sells Halal chicken, Lamb, Steak, Fish, Shrimp, seasoned fries, soft drinks and desserts. ONE LOCATION ONLY.
