Zaitoon was born of a dream of a couple who wanted to bring authentic Arabic cuisine to locals at an affordable price. They made their dream become a reality, zaitoon name became synonymous with fantastic Arabic food and set the standard for other arabic restaurants. Unfortunately, due to the sad passing of our beloved Wissam in November 2021, business operations halted. However, in April 2022, El

izabeth resumed operations in memory of her husband. She changed the dream that was centered around Arabic food to healthy meals at affordable pricing. She called this dream the JFK. This dream was born as she noticed a gap in the market centered around working individuals who wanted healthy fit meals at an affordable price. In addition because the cafe is located in an area where many students reside, she decided to have a menu centered in them in mind. She calls this menu junk as it includes burger, fries, gyros and a host of other traditional Trinidadian dishes. The Fit and Keto menu on the other hand are geared towards individuals who may have a specific health issue such as diabetes and high blood pressure. In addition, to those who may want to lose weight and maybe exercising. It is her goal to partner with multiple gyms and other retail outlets to sell the food and have it widely accessible for all.
