The year is 1980, imagine a young man and his wife in a car selling sandwiches, punches and juices, inside the Port of Spain central market in the night, and during the day outside the St James county office this was the beginning of Chop Suey's, managed solely by Mr Gregory Perreira and his lovely wife Jacqueline Perreira. As the business increased, staffing did also, with the help of their eldest children the life of Chop Suey's continued successfully, as it moved to their first location on the E.M.R Laventille, the business stayed there for two years. Chop Suey's then moved to E.M.R Barataria for five years, until they purchased their own property to start a restaurant style food outlet, and it is here that Chop Suey's has been located for the past sixteen (16) years .They have continued to be the leading Chinese Restaurant from San Juan to Port of Spain they now offer a variety of cuisines such as an indulging Creole food, soups and even breakfast.
