Our 40-person Heritage Tree project has progressed rapidly since the day we launched it. We have come together with people of wonderful energy who truly love nature; I thank each and every one of you separately. There were also those who provided support from the outside, good thing you exist! 🌲✨

Every day when I step into the studio and look at our Heritage Tree board, seeing it fill up never fails to move me. You truly gave off incredible energy. We’ve had previous projects before, but this one was entirely different. The support was amazing; you did everything you could to share and spread the project. I also tried my best during this period to do wonderful things for our region. 🌱💚

I want to extend a special thank you to my daughter, **Su Dükel**, and to our talented artist nurtured by our studio whom I love like a daughter, **Yasmin**, who never stopped supporting me along this path. I am also deeply indebted to everyone who helped with environmental cleanup, provided water containers against fires, and assisted me in distributing them. 🙏🔥💧

Looking at the board, each person comes to mind individually with every tattoo. Those conversations, those beautiful thoughts, those lovely emotions... Moments of talking and chatting with each of them come alive, and this brings me a unique joy while deeply moving me.

Our main work will begin when the rains come. We are planning a planting event in November, and now I am starting to work on it slowly, step by step. My inner excitement will only settle when we bring the trees together with the soil. 🌳🍂

There is very little time left, the season will end, and the real work will begin after that. Thank you all so much for the value you added here and for showing how much you love this place. Good thing you are here! 💚

We left behind another meaningful meeting as part of our Heritage Tree social responsibility project. 🌲✨ After previously completing the tattoos of İan and his father, we have now finished the tattoo of his dear wife, Ashley, at our studio. 🖋️🖤

By joining our project, she also wrote her name into this nature movement; now she has trees that will flourish here too! 🌱🌳 I wish this beautiful tattoo, crafted with delicate and elegant dotwork, brings good luck to her and her family. 💫

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supports this meaningful project and helps us breathe life back into our nature. We are so glad to have you! 💚

Tracing Time: A New Project with Engin ⏳✨

Dear Engin—a loyal friend of our studio whose full sleeve arm we previously completed with a major theme, and who has dozens of my tattoos across his legs and body—was with us again during his visit to Turunç. Having worked exclusively with me since the day we met, this trusted bond allowed us to bring a magnificent Time God concept to life, just as we had planned. ⌛

* Design Details: Placing the figure of Cronus, the ancient god of time, at the center, we maximized the sculptural feel, realism, and sense of depth. With many adjustments to the design, we incorporated ancient texts into the background and seamlessly integrated a meaningful quote that Engin very much wanted on the side of his arm. 🖋️
* Fine Craftsmanship: Requiring intense effort and minimal intricate work from background details to shading stages, this long session was well worth every bit of fatigue for the flawless result.
* Friendship & Harmony: Because we know each other so well, I can directly reflect his thoughts and expectations into my designs, resulting in better and more satisfying work every single time. Perhaps I'll be in Istanbul in December; we have plans to continue our work there as well.

I wish this special tattoo brings great luck to dear Engin, whose wonderful conversation and energy make every meeting a joy. See you again next year! 🖤

The Tree of Heritage Project: Julie's Tulip Motif 🌷✨

Every summer, our dear guests Julie and her wonderful family take their place in our traditional gathering. Growing with new stories every year, this bond hosted yet another deeply meaningful memory during this visit. 🌲💚

* Project Support: Julie personally contributed to our Heritage Tree social responsibility project, taking on the responsibility of a new sapling that will take root in nature. 🌳
* Design: We applied a delicate tulip motif—meaningful for both herself and our country—through a clean linework piece, carefully placed on the most aesthetic and fitting part of her body. 🖋️
* Family Bonds: We designed special new tattoos for her husband this year as well. Their three wonderful children drew beautiful pictures for me and spent time with Luna, becoming the joy of our studio. 🐶🎨

We will plant this meaningful sapling in November in the name of Julie and this lovely family. I sincerely thank them for their mindful support and wonderful energy, and I wish that their tattoos bring them good luck. See you again next year! 🙋‍♂️❤️

🔥 Our new work is straight from the hands of our young talent, Yasmin! ✨ The delicacy in the details and the sharp lines made this one of the pieces that most clearly reflects the style of our artist, who has been dazzling since her very first work. 🖤 Great job, Yasmin! 👏🎨

After taking a short break from our project posts, we are back together with Carly and Arthur, our wonderful and fun guests from our special list of 40 people. 🌲

I had previously worked with Carly; as for Arthur, after his two previous tattoos, we added a brand-new piece to his collection this year. They make this journey so much more meaningful with their belief in and support of our project. They came to this session with designs they completely chose and prepared themselves: Yasmin, our artist, completed Arthur's tattoo with great care, and I did Carly's. ✍️

The specific motifs they chose symbolize the texture and nature of our region. Referring to the pine trees and forests that were damaged in our region recently, Carly chose a pine branch and cone motif, while Arthur opted for an olive branch—a symbol of our region as well as a universal sign of peace and tranquility. 🌿

The camera recordings were as enjoyable and lovely as these moments; the spirit of our 40-person Heritage Tree project fit right into our studio's Legacy corner. 🎥 While immortalizing these beautiful memories, with their meaningful support, we will plant their special trees in the soil this November. On this path we set out to make our Turunç green again and to reforest the areas burned in that big fire, like all our other friends, they will now have trees taking root and blooming here. 🌳

While carrying these textures unique to our region on their bodies, they will continue to green alongside us, like trees rooted right here. A heartfelt thank you to our dear friends who support our project and share this wonderful energy with us. We will green Turunç up again, and our story continues to grow! ✨

Another wonderful family reunion and another deeply meaningful project completed. For the wonderful family who visits our studio every year and trusts us with their ink, your continued faith in our work truly means the world to us. After working on his daughter's new tattoos this season, it was his turn to get inked.

We crafted a truly special design symbolizing his deep love and commitment to his wife. A diamond representing the meaning of his wife's name, crowned with a regal crown, and a date that forever captures the bond they share. Taking his initial, simpler reference image, I added finer details and shading to transform it into a much more realistic piece, seamlessly integrating the date into the composition.

A big thank you to Yasmin for her help during the design process. The tattooing session itself was thoroughly enjoyable, filled with great conversation. May this new piece bring him, his wife, their children, and their entire family health, happiness, and good fortune. Deeply grateful for their continued trust and loyalty. 💎👑

A new tattoo, a beautiful transformation! ✨
Our guest came to us with a reference design for her leg featuring two feathers, a small bird, and stars. Contrary to the initial reference image, which had heavy and harsh outlines, I suggested a much more delicate, feminine, and aesthetic approach. On the day of her appointment, I also proposed adding color to bring the design to life.
She loved the custom design and trusted my vision for the coloring. We completed the piece with graceful linework and soft, vibrant shading. Seeing her leave so happy with the result made it all worth it.
May her new tattoo bring her endless good luck! 🌿🕊️✨

A great long-time guest returned for his 3rd annual session! ✨
When he first came to me, he already had a few tattoos on his arm. I liked his style and suggested completing a full sleeve using similar bold lines and elements to create a unified look. He loved the idea, and together we mapped out the transformation. Building that trust paid off—3 years later, we’ve covered almost 90% of his sleeve with 5 custom pieces:
Inner arm: A bold owl design 🦉
Forearm: His wedding date—a special surprise for his wife, freehanded to perfectly match the arm's natural flow 💍
Shoulder & back gap: A dynamic dragon and tiger piece 🐉🐅
Above the elbow: A bottle with a message floating in sea waves 🍾🌊
Front section: A power symbol with custom freehand details ⚡
It turned out to be an incredibly stylish, aesthetic, and complete look. Thank you for trusting my guidance and freehand work throughout this journey. See you next year to finish the final details!

A new tattoo, a new story! ✨
Our new guest came to us with a meaningful idea to honor her father's memory. Based on her requests, we created a custom composition, combining fine linework, a moon, stars, and a sailboat detail featuring the word "DAD." ⛵🌙⭐
It turned out to be a genuinely aesthetic, minimal, and delicate linework piece. It suited her perfectly, and seeing her leave happy was a pleasure. Thank you for choosing us!
A big thank you as well for her support in sharing her experience and recommending our studio. If you’ve visited us, feel free to leave a review on Google Business or TripAdvisor for Black Girl Tattoo Studio Turunç to help future guests discover us! 💭👇
