Efes ile Sur 1938 Almanya Bremen yapımı iki kardeştir. Her ikisi de 518 Gros ton, 44 metre boyunda 12 mil hızındadır.

Kış Yolcu Adedi: 960 Yaz yolcu adedi ise 1095 dir. Tamamlanmalarından kısa süre sonra önce Efes 12 Ağustos 1938 tarihinde İzmir'e gelmiş bir iki ay sonra da kardeşi Sur gelmiştir. Her ikisine de isimlerini Atatürk vermiştir.
