“İzmir’den Yiddish Diyarına: Müzikal Bir Yolculuk”

Yidiş ve Rebetiko müziği arasındaki bağlantıları keşfedeceğiniz özel bir akşama katılmaya davet ediyoruz. Canlı Café Aman geleneğinden geç Osmanlı döneminin zengin müzikal sentezine uzanan bu tarihsel temelli performans, coşkulu dansları, flört dolu aşk şarkılarını, kaotik düğünleri ve liman şehirlerinin ruh dolu ezgilerini bir araya getiriyor. Konser, Rebetiko, Klezmer ve Yidiş müzik gelenekleri üzerine uzmanların yaptığı araştırmaların sunumuyla da desteklenecektir.

Join us for a captivating evening exploring the connections between Yiddish and rebetiko music, from the lively Café Aman tradition to the rich musical hybridity of the late Ottoman era. This historically informed performance blends fiery dances, songs of flirtatious love and chaotic weddings, and the soulful sounds of port cities. The concert will be accompanied by a presentation of the research by specialists in rebetiko and klezmer and Yiddish traditions.

Cukros, izleyiciyi Macaristan’dan Orta Doğu’ya uzanan bir müzikal yolculuğa çıkarıyor.
Bori Mályi ve Annabella Raiona, iki ses ve dört enstrümanla Balkanlar’ın farklı köşelerinden hikayeler anlatarak samimi bir müzik deneyimi sunuyor. Farklı kültürel geçmişlere sahip bu iki sanatçı, Rotterdam’daki Codarts’ta Türk müziği eğitimi alırken tanıştı ve koboz, keman, bağlama ve bendirle kendilerine eşlik ediyorlar.
Müzikleri, özellikle kadınlar tarafından kuşaktan kuşağa aktarılan vokal geleneklerinden derin bir ilham alıyor. Hollanda, Slovenya ve Avusturya’daki performanslarında, geleneksel müziğe kadın bakış açısıyla yaklaşarak daha geniş bir kitleye ulaşmayı başardılar. Bu Muhteşem Konseri kaçırmayın..

Cukros takes the audience on a musical journey from Hungary to the Middle East.

With two voices and four instruments Bori Mályi and Annabella Raiona create intimate spaces and tell stories from different corners of the Balkans.
The two singers of different backgrounds met throughout their studies of Turkish music at Codarts in Rotterdam and accompany themselves on koboz, violin, bağlama and bendir.
Their music is strongly inspired by vocal traditions, often passed on by women.
With past performances they revealed their female perspective in traditional music to a bigger audience in the Netherlands, Slovenia and Austria. Don’t miss this amazing concert.
