♻️ ECOLIFE IN C — Nusantara Songkhla
Line OA: @ ecolifeapp / ECOLIFE
Nusantara Songkhla has joined the campaign as one of the merchants to support eco tourism, recycle & sustainability activities supported by ECOLIFE.
Do you know, more than half of our products, vinyl records, CD and cassette tapes are used & vintage collectibles from the 80s—00s, Nusantara helps the once abandoned products to find new owners and giving them new lives, listened and played by new generations, music lovers and collectors.
💿 The vinyl, cassette tapes and CD revival has completely bridged generational gaps. While audiophiles and older generations treasure records for nostalgia, Gen Z has made them a cultural lifestyle, prioritizing physical ownership and tactile, “slow living” experiences over streaming. However, this renaissance has sparked a push for eco-friendly recycling and production.
🎶 SOME RECORDS MADE IN RECYCLE MATERIALS:
• ECO-Vinyl is made by reusing production waste, rejected records, and leftover material from previous orders. Instead of sending this plastic to landfill, it’s ground back into granules and pressed again into new records. This approach supports circular production, reducing the demand for virgin PVC and cutting overall waste.
• BIO-Vinyl is the next step toward reducing the carbon footprint of record production and supporting cleaner materials for the long run. Unlike standard PVC, which is made from fossil fuels, Bio-Vinyl uses bio-based compounds that replace crude oil in the production process. On average, Bio-Vinyl reduces CO₂ emissions by around 38% compared to standard PVC, while maintaining a lifespan of up to 75 years — matching the longevity of traditional records. In additional to being fully recyclable, Bio-Vinyl also tends to accumulate less static electricity, resulting in cleaner playback and less dust on your records.
🍵 Lastly, we serve most of our drinks and desserts in reusable glasses, utensils and ceramic plates for dine-in to reduce waste of plastic unless takeaway. 🍰
♻️ Let’s build a sustainable environment together, starting in Songkhla old town.
