Welcome home, Kelly and family
Some guests become friends. Some friends become family.
There are moments that remind us why Joy Bungalow has been more than just a place to stay since 1987.
This week, we were delighted to welcome Kelly Allen back to Joy Bungalow for her third visit.
Many years ago, Kelly first came to Joy on her honeymoon. She returned again in 2023, and now she’s back once more—this time with her two wonderful children and her brother, creating a new chapter of memories together.
Life takes us on many different journeys, and it means so much to us when guests choose to return to Joy through the different chapters of their lives.
Watching families return over the years is one of the greatest gifts we could ever receive. It’s a reminder that a holiday is about more than beautiful beaches and breathtaking sunsets—it’s about the memories we create, the friendships we build, and the places that continue to feel like home.
The smiles shared in this photo between Kelly’s family and the Joy team say more than words ever could. We are truly grateful that Joy Bungalow has become a place worth returning to.
Thank you, Kelly, for your friendship, your trust, and for allowing us to be a small part of your family’s story. We hope these days on Koh Jum bring laughter, peace, and beautiful new memories that will be treasured for years to come.
