It’s taken a little time for me to chat with you this year as so much has happened. First the rains and repairs and clean up before my family arrived. A much needed couple of weeks together catching up, sharing stories and adventures , and then hanging out with my son whilst he and Ong built platform beds, and devised games for Bruno.
Then Pi Ong became a grandfather for the first time and of course went to meet his new love. I then went to Mumbai and Goa to see two dear ones, and then the UK and Portugal.
Things always happen for a reason and it is now clear that as much as we want d to open there simply was no time and as it transpires we simply need some time and space to check in with ourselves; look at
What we had created and ask ourselves in light of new opportunities did we still want this?
We have loved living here, and will be eternally grateful to the Suriyan family for allowing us to live so easily and freely , we developed family and will love them forevermore.
To be able to grow your own food, drink from the mountain, eat from the abundance of edible trees and plants around us and learn and share tips has been heart enriching, we have wanted for nothing. The dream actualized.
Now time has come for new dreams and challenges. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us and in doing so enabled us to achieve so much . Forever grateful to you all.
Our next project is being planned and it won’t be long before we update you with our new location . See you soon ❣️
