11 years on Koh Phangan. And I’m still here.
When I opened Yep — I had no experience, no money for the Japanese listening bar I dreamed about. Just a friend Yura who said “look what they do in Tokyo” and a feeling that I wanted a place where people feel good.
Not a restaurant. Not a club. Something in between — records, food, a DJ, conversations. A place where you walk in and just… enjoy.
That’s how Yep was born.
Now we’re in a new format — breakfast, Thai food, evenings with music. The bar is changing. I’m changing. The island is changing.
But the idea is the same — come in and feel good.
