Hi all.

Our apologies if you have come by over the last week or so to find us closed. Our few days away ended up being followed by illness when we got back, and we were unable to open again earlier last week as planned.

We have actually decided to remain closed for some low-season family time. Thanks to all of you that have come by over the past six months - we really appreciate it. Your feedback and reviews have let us know that you have enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere here, and for that we are truly grateful.

It may not be Taco Tuesday, but we still have tacos!

Beer-battered Fish, Spicy Pork (or Tofu) Chorizo with Sweet Potato or Slow-cooked Pulled Pork - all with our house-made flour tortillas!

Ninox is located on the Main Road along Phra Ae opposite Lanta Lily Resort and the entrance to Hutyeeboat Bungalows. Head south from 7-11 Phra Ae.

Did you know that we have many vegan and vegetarian dishes on our menu? Here's an idea of whats available . . .

Vegan Mezze Platter - Tomato salsa, sweet-potato hummus, raw vegetable sticks, pickled red onion, olives, mung-bean falafel and two house made flour tortillas. 140B.

Ancient Grain Salad (Vegan with no yoghurt dressing) - Quinoa and lentils tossed with coriander, parsley, green olives, raisins, EVOO and lime juice. Topped with toasted nuts, seeds and pomegranite and served with sweet-potato hummus and a spiced yoghurt dressing . 240B.

Vegan Falafel Platter - Mung-bean falafels served with sweet-potato hummus, pickled red onion, lime-tahini dressing, rainbow slaw and warm flour tortillas. 190B.

Asian Slaw with Spicy Nuoc Cham Dressing (Vegan) - Shredded carrot, cucumber, cabbage, bean sprouts, red onion, coriander and mint. Topped with roasted peanuts, sesame seeds and crispy shallots. Served with crispy cassava crackers. 150B.

Spicy tofu chorizo and sweet potato tacos (Vegan) - 3 house-made flour-tortillas loaded with cabbage slaw, tofu chorizo and sweet potato cubes, topped with pickled red onion and cashew cream. 170B.

We still also have Okonomyaki on our specials board (Vegetarian) - a Japanese style savoury pancake with cabbage, carrot, Chinese kale and baby corn, topped with mushroom 'hoisin' sauce, kewpie mayo, cucumber salad, spring onion and sesame seeds. 110B.

For a taste of Melbourne cafe culture in the tropics . . . Head to Ninox in Phra Ae.

We are located opposite the new Lanta Lily Resort on the main road. About 300m south of Phra Ae 7-11.

Also please note that due to family commitments, we have changed our opening times. We are now opening and closing a bit earlier - 8.30am until 6.30pm. See you for breakfast, lunch or an early dinner!

Expect the unexpected at Ninox - all day, everyday - like our Ancient Grain Salad . . .

Quinoa and lentils tossed with coriander, parsley, green olives, raisins and extra virgin olive oil. Topped with toasted almonds, pepitas and pomegranate and served with sweet-potato hummus and a spiced yoghurt dressing.

Back on our specials board . . .

Okonomyaki: a veggie-packed Japanese style savoury pancake with cabbage, Chinese kale, baby corn and carrot. Topped with mushroom 'hoisin' sauce, mayo, scallions, shaved cucumber salad and sesame seeds. 110 Baht.

Add bacon (+30) or smoked salmon (+50) if that's your thing.

Kitchen open until 9.30 pm. Lots of other great dishes on offer too!

We are opposite the entrance to Hutyeeboat Bungalows and the new Lanta Lily Resort along Phra Ae Main Road.
