🎉 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗜𝗦𝗛: 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 🎉

We’re delighted to officially share the news — 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴!

Our new restaurant is just 𝟭 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲’𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, on the opposite side of the road from the former 𝗠𝗿 𝗗𝗜𝗬 / 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝘅 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The new Superfish has 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗶𝗿-𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀, as well as a comfortable 𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 for those who prefer to eat outside.

And don’t worry — we’re still serving 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 you know and love, alongside an 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘂 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀, including dishes such as prawn cocktail and ham, egg & chips.

None of this would have been possible without the fantastic support we’ve received from the local community since we opened. We really do appreciate it, so 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

📍 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟯 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿.

We’ll then be closed for one week from 𝟰 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 while we move everything across, get settled in, and make sure the new restaurant is ready for you.

Our chips are cut from whole potatoes right here at Superfish, then carefully prepared and cooked in-house to get that proper chippy texture.

Hand-cut chips take more time, more effort, and a lot more attention — especially when working with the tricky local potatoes.

But we think you can taste the difference.

A quick update for everyone — we know there’s been a bit of excitement about the new Superfish shop, especially now the new roadside sign is up and the painting is nearly finished. 👀🐟

Just to avoid any confusion, we’re still open at our current location for now, for both eat-in and takeaway as usual.

We’re hoping to make the official announcement about the new shop within the next week or so, once everything is ready to go.

Until then, you’ll still find us at the old shop serving all your usual chippy favourites. 🇬🇧🍟

Does gravy belong on fish & chips? 👀

For some people, gravy is strictly for the chips. For others, the whole lot gets absolutely drowned in it — fish included.

And then, of course, there are those who think putting gravy anywhere near battered fish should be a criminal offence. 😂

We’re not taking sides… but our rich, savoury gravy does make a pretty convincing argument.

If gravy on fish isn’t your cup of tea, go for homemade tartare sauce or our chip shop curry sauce instead. 😋
