กันเกรา (Tembusu, Fagraea fragrans) เป็นต้นไม้ยืนต้นขนาดกลางถึงใหญ่ พบได้ทั่วไปในทุกภาคของประเทศไทย ถือเป็นหนึ่งในไม้มงคล 9 ชนิด เช่นเดียวกับ ราชพฤกษ์ ขนุน ชัยพฤกษ์ ทองหลาง ไผ่สีสุก ทรงบาดาล สัก และพะยูง ดอกของต้นกันเกราจะออกในช่วงเมษายนถึงมิถุนายนของทุกปี ลักษณะดอกเป็นช่อสีเหลือง มีกลิ่นหอมไกล
บ้านกันเกรา (Baan Gun-grao, バーン•ガン•グラォ) เป็นบ้านเล็กๆที่มีต้นกันเกราอยู่กลางสนาม เรามีบริการเครื่องดื่มและไอศครีมโฮมเมด พร้อมทั้งผลิตภัณฑ์ทำมือสวยๆ ในราคาเป็นกันเอง นอกจากนี้ทางร้านยังมีบริการรับทำไอศครีมสำหรับงานเลี้ยง งานอีเวนท์ งานสัมนา
การเดินทาง: ร้านบ้านกันเกราตั้งอยู่ฝั่งตรงข้าม (เยื้องๆ) ริมปิงซุปเปอร์มาเกต สาขามีโชค จากทางแยกรวมโชคมีชัยไปทางสนามกีฬา 700 ปี ประมาณ 300 เมตร จะเห็นซอยที่มีป้ายร้านเจริญสวนแอก เลี้ยวเข้าซอยไปประมาณ 100 เมตร ก็จะเจอร้านบ้านกันเกราอยู่ทางขวามือ แวะมากันนะคะ พวกเรารอต้อนรับทุกคนด้วยมิตรภาพ รอยยิ้มและความเป็นกันเอง
The Gun Grao (Tembusu ,Fagraea fragrans) is a large evergreen tree in the family Gentianaceae. Its trunk is dark brown, with deeply fissured bark, looking somewhat like a bittergourd. It grows in an irregular shape from 10 to 25m high. Its leaves are light green and oval in shape. It blooms during April through June and iIts yellowish flowers have a distinct fragrance. Baan Gun-grao (バーン•ガン•グラォ) is a cute, little house having a gun-grao tree in the front lawn. Drinks (of course, great taste coffee too) and homemade icecream are available, together with nice handicrafts that can be yours at friendly reasonable prices. We also provide icecream catering service for parties, events and seminars. Baan Gun-grao is located on the middle ring road (heading to the Chiang Mai City Hall), just opposite to the Rim Ping Supermarket (Mee Chok Branch). We are about 300 meters from Ruam Chok Mee Chai Intersection. There’s a Soi on the left with a visible “Jareon Suan Aek” sign, just enter the Soi for about 100 meters. You will see Baan Gun-grao on your right hand side, just right on the little curvy part of the road. Come to visit us, we are waiting to greet you with friendly smile and lots of goodies.
