Tip and June were born in Bangkok and raised amongst the bustling hawker stands and street food stalls that spring to life in Bangkok each night and create a dine's paradise of exotic Thai tastes and flavours. Thai food has been in their blood since these early years and is a passion in their life. They spent a number of years living overseas operating a number of highly-rated restaurants including Thai Foon, Thai Land - chosen by the Sydney Morning Herald as the best Thai restaurant of 1991 -, Just Thai Café, Little Thailand in San Souci, Little Thailand in Canberra in Canberra and Gungahlin Thai Kitchen. The time came when they had made a big decision to come back to live in Bangkok after 34 years living overseas. they bought with them not only their knowledge of running a successful business but also of other cultures. Now their new venture, 'My Thai Hostel', is open to welcome travellers from around the world. Their restaurant on the ground floor is named 'Boomerang' and that's how they see their life: like a boomerang: no matter how long they were living away from home, they finally came back to the country - city of their origin. They are here to greet you during your visit to Amazing Thailand.
