There’s an old idea that life moves in cycles of seven years, something shifts, changes, or begins again.
For us, a lot has changed too. The places, the people, the team, and everything we’ve learned along the way.
But after seven years, we’ve also come to realise how much has stayed the same.
From the beginning, all we really wanted was to share the kind of coffee we believe in, and to be a small, easy moment in someone’s day. A familiar cup. A place to meet a friend. Somewhere to start the morning, take a break, slow down for a while, or find a little energy to keep going.
Over the years, those simple moments have become what Kurasu Thailand means to us.
And maybe that’s why, after seven years, we feel more certain than ever that “we’re here to stay”
Last Sunday, we celebrated this milestone in the way that felt most like us, around the table with friends, sharing good food, opening bottles, listening to music, and spending the evening together.
A big thank you to อั้งโล่บายย่างแรก for creating the food and sharing the table with us, and to natural w**e from GRAPEY! for the w**es that carried us through the evening.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who has been part of these seven years. Those who have been here since the beginning, those we’ve met somewhere along the way, and all the familiar faces we’re lucky to keep seeing again and again.
We don’t know what the next seven years will bring, or what might shift and change along the way.
But we do know that we’ll keep showing up, making coffee, creating space for people to come together, and trying to make the everyday moments a little better, whatever kind of day you’re having.
