จากโรงรถเก่า…สู่ตำนานสองรสชาติ
The Oqposite & Yuenan 越南 🇻🇳
ทุกอย่างเริ่มจาก “โรงรถเก่าของบ้าน” (บ้านสถาปิตะเวสม์)
ที่พ่อเคยนั่งจิบกาแฟยามเช้า ☕ บางวันก็จิบไวน์กับเพื่อน 🍷
เป็นมุมเงียบ ๆ ที่ไม่มีใครคาดคิดว่าจะกลายเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของทุกสิ่ง
เราสองพี่น้องมองที่ตรงนั้น แล้วตั้งคำถามว่า
“ตรงนี้…มันจะกลายเป็นอะไรที่มีชีวิตได้ไหม?”
แล้วคำตอบก็คือ The Oqposite
คาเฟ่เล็ก ๆ ที่ไม่ได้ตั้งใจเป็นร้านหรู
แต่เป็น “บ้านหลังหนึ่ง” ที่อบอุ่นและตรงไปตรงมา 🏡✨
ชื่อร้านเล่นคำจากตัวอักษร q และ p
เพื่อสื่อแนวคิดว่า
“สิ่งที่คุณเห็น…อาจตรงข้ามกับสิ่งที่คุณจะได้สัมผัส” 🔄
ที่นี่ไม่ได้เน้นความหวือหวา
แต่เต็มไปด้วยรายละเอียดเล็ก ๆ ที่ซ่อนอยู่ในทุกมุม
อาหารไม่ใช่แค่ของกิน 🍴
แต่มันคือ “ภาษาหนึ่งของบ้าน” ที่เล่าเรื่องครอบครัว 👨👩👧👦
บางจานเป็นของคุณย่า เช่น ข้าวมันกุ้ง  ไข่ต้มยางมะตูม
บางจานเป็นรสชาติที่โตมากับเรา เช่น ข้าวหนำเลี้ยบหมูสับหม้อดิน ทรงเครื่อง และบางจานเกิดจากการทดลอง เช่น สปาเกตตีหมูเบคอน พริกแห้ง สูตรเฉพาะ และอีกหลายจานที่มาจากสิ่งที่เรารัก
เช่น ข้าวกระเพราเนื้อไข่ดาวเยิ้ม 🍳 และอีกมากมาย
ไม่มีสูตรลับ ไม่มีเทคนิคซับซ้อน
มีเพียงความตั้งใจจริงจาก “ลูกหลานไทย”
ที่อยากเปลี่ยนมื้อธรรมดาให้กลายเป็นความรู้สึกที่คุณจะจำได้ 🧡🍚

แล้วโควิดก็มาถึง… 😷💔
ร้านต้องปิด รายได้หาย แต่หัวใจเราไม่เคยหยุดเดิน 🚶♂️🚶♀️
ลูกน้องยังต้องกิน ครอบครัวยังต้องอยู่ 🍽
เรามองหน้ากัน แล้วเลือก “เริ่มต้นใหม่”
แม้ไม่มีแผนชัดเจน…แต่มีใจที่พร้อมลุย 💪🌱
เราสองพี่น้องที่ไม่เคยกินผักตอนเด็ก 🥬
กลับเลือกทำอาหารเวียดนาม
จากความไม่รู้ กลายเป็นหลงใหล
จากการชิม กลายเป็นการศึกษาอย่างจริงจัง ✏️
เราเดินทางทั่วเวียดนาม ✈️
เรียนรู้สูตรดั้งเดิมและการปรับให้เข้ากับลิ้นคนไทย
ด้วยความช่วยเหลือจากเพื่อนเวียดนามของน้องสาว 🤝
เราค่อย ๆ พัฒนาเมนูและแนวคิด
จนได้รสมือที่มั่นใจ และจิตวิญญาณที่ใช่ 🔥

ร้านเยี่ยหนานไม่ได้เริ่มจากสูตร
แต่มาจากความตั้งใจล้วน ๆ 💞
เรารีโนเวทร้านอะไหล่เก่าให้กลายเป็นร้านอาหาร 🍜
ภายใต้ธีม “หลังสงครามเวียดนาม”
ตกแต่งด้วยสีแดงดำ — แรงแต่สงบ ❤️🖤 ลูกผสมแต่กลมกลืน
ชื่อร้าน เยี่ยหนาน (越南) เป็นภาษาจีนกลาง
แปลตรงตัวว่า “เวียดนาม”
ไม่ใช่แค่ชื่อร้าน แต่คือการให้เกียรติวัฒนธรรมและประเทศเจ้าของอาหารที่เรารัก 🕊️🌏
ทุกเมนูผ่านการคิด ปรุง ทดลอง และกลั่นมา
เพื่อให้คนไทยเข้าใจ และคนเวียดนามก็สัมผัสได้ถึงความตั้งใจ 💬👨🍳

วันนี้ เยี่ยหนานมีแล้ว 2 สาขา และสาขาใหม่กำลังจะตามมา
สาขาต้นแบบ — ถนนพะเนียง หลังวัดโสมนัส (นางเลิ้ง) 🛕
ร้านแรกที่เราลงมือสร้างเองทั้งหมด ด้วยมือ ด้วยหัวใจ 💛
ร้านที่บอกเล่าตำนานของครอบครัว ผ่านอาหารและบรรยากาศ
สาขาที่สอง — The Circle ราชพฤกษ์ 🌳
ขยับเข้าสู่พื้นที่ใหม่ ด้วยคอนเซ็ปต์เดิมแต่เข้าถึงคนได้มากขึ้น
ยังคงรสชาติ ความตั้งใจ และความอบอุ่นไว้ครบถ้วน
และเร็ว ๆ นี้…
“เยี่ยหนาน สาขาเซ็นทรัล ปิ่นเกล้า” 🏬🎉
จะเปิดให้บริการในห้างใหญ่ใจกลางฝั่งธน
เพื่อขยายการส่งต่อความอร่อยแบบเวียดนาม…
จากหัวใจคนไทยให้กว้างขึ้นอีกระดับ 🧭❤️

Yuenan 越南 🇻🇳 คือบ้านหลังที่สอง — ร้านอาหารที่ใช้วัฒนธรรมต่างชาติมาเล่าผ่านหัวใจของคนไทย
สองร้านนี้อาจดูไม่เหมือนกัน
แต่มีสิ่งหนึ่งที่เหมือนกันอย่างที่สุด
คือความตั้งใจของลูกหลานไทย 🇹🇭👩🍳👨🍳
ที่ไม่เคยหยุดฝัน 🌟 ไม่เคยหยุดลงมือ
และเชื่อเสมอว่า…
“อาหารที่ดีที่สุด ไม่ได้เริ่มจากครัว แต่เริ่มจากความรัก” ❤️🍲

From an Old Garage… to a Tale of Two Flavors
The Oqposite & Yuenan 越南 🇻🇳
It all began with an old garage in front of our house.
A quiet little corner where Dad used to sip coffee in the morning ☕, and sometimes share a glass of wine with friends 🍷 — a space no one thought would become the starting point of something so meaningful.
We looked at that spot and asked:
“Could this space be brought to life?”
The answer became The Oqposite —
A small café that was never meant to be fancy,
but simply a home, warm and honest. 🏡✨
The name plays with the letters q and p,
reflecting the idea that
“What you see might be the opposite of what you feel.” 🔄
It’s not about showiness here —
but about thoughtful little details tucked into every corner.
Food isn’t just food here. 🍴
It’s a language of the home, telling our family’s story. 👨👩👧👦
Some dishes came from our grandmother — like shrimp rice with garlic oil.
Some from our childhood — like clay pot rice with minced pork and olives.
Some from experimentation — like spicy crispy pork spaghetti.
And many from pure love — like Thai-style holy basil beef with runny egg. 🍳
There are no secret techniques or complicated tricks,
just honest efforts from Thai descendants
who want to turn a simple meal into a lasting feeling. 🧡🍚

Then came the pandemic… 😷💔
The café had to close. Revenue stopped.
But our hearts never stopped moving. 🚶♂️🚶♀️
Our staff still needed support. Our families still needed care. 🍽
So we looked at each other and said:
Let’s begin again.
With no clear plan — but hearts ready to leap. 💪🌱
We, two siblings who once hated vegetables 🥬,
chose to dive into Vietnamese cuisine.
From ignorance came obsession.
From eating came learning. ✏️
We traveled all over Vietnam ✈️,
tasting, studying, comparing.
With help from my sister’s Vietnamese friend 🤝,
we developed recipes and a culinary voice
that felt true — and tasted right. 🔥

Yuenan 越南 🇻🇳 — Vietnamese Food from Thai Hearts
Yuenan didn’t start with a recipe.
It began with pure intention. 💞
We transformed an old auto parts store into a Vietnamese restaurant 🍜
under a post-war concept —
with red and black as our theme —
bold but calm, fused yet balanced. ❤️🖤
The name “Yuenan” (越南), in Mandarin,
literally means “Vietnam.”
Not just a name —
but our tribute to the country and culture behind the cuisine we’ve come to love. 🕊️🌏
Each dish has been thought out, refined, tested, and felt —
crafted to resonate with Thai palates,
while honoring the roots of Vietnamese flavor. 💬👨🍳

Today, Yuenan has 2 branches — and another on the way.
The original — on Phaniang Road behind Wat Sommanat 🛕,
was built by our own hands and hearts. 💛
A restaurant that tells our family’s legend through food and atmosphere.
The second — at The Circle Ratchaphruek 🌳,
brings the same warmth and flavors
to a broader, more vibrant setting.
And coming soon…
Yuenan at Central Pinklao 🏬🎉
— a new chapter in a major shopping mall in west Bangkok,
bringing heartfelt Vietnamese food
to even more people. 🧭❤️

a restaurant that brings Vietnamese culture to life through Thai hearts.

but they share one thing deeply in common:
