R-HAAN proudly presents a collaboration between two global culinary cultures, “Two Realms, One Table”, an exclusive dining experience that brings together two distinct worlds of flavour through the partnership of Chef Yu Bin and Chef Chumpol Jangprai of R-HAAN at Purple Laurel, Gaysorn Amarin.

“Two Realms, One Table” marks the meeting of two culinary traditions. Chef Yu Bin, renowned for his interpretation of Jiangnan cuisine from China, joins Chef Chumpol, one of Thailand’s leading culinary figures, to create a menu that reflects shared cultural heritage and history. The course menu features a selection of premium ingredients, including crab, Jinhua ham, and river prawns, alongside main courses of duck and beef, concluding with a special dessert created collaboratively by both chefs. The experience is further enhanced by a curated selection of both cold and hot teas, thoughtfully paired to complement each course.

The evening marked another opportunity for us to present our perspective on Thai cuisine, through the collaboration between Chef Chumpol Jangprai and the Saffron culinary team, featuring a menu inspired by ingredients from the Andaman coast, alongside Thai culinary wisdom and a contemporary interpretation.

R-HAAN, the two Michelin-starred Thai restaurant, joins Tatler Best of Andaman 2026 to present a refined Thai dining experience through a Chef Collaboration Dinner with Saffron at Banyan Tree Phuket.

On this special occasion, Chef Chumpol Jangprai collaborates with Chef Worapong and Chef Thipaporn of Saffron to present a five-course menu inspired by ingredients from the Andaman coast, expressed through techniques rooted in Thai culinary wisdom, alongside a contemporary interpretation.

The event will take place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April 2026 at Saffron, Banyan Tree Phuket. The evening begins with Cocktail and Canapé from 18.00–19.00 hrs., followed by dinner at 19.00 hrs.

The price is THB 4,900 per person for the 5-Course Dinner, and THB 6,900 per person for the 5-Course Dinner with Wine Pairing.

Early Bird prices are available at THB 4,200 per person for the 5-Course Dinner, and THB 5,900 per person for the 5-Course Dinner with Wine Pairing.

This intimate dining experience is limited to 30 guests per evening, allowing each dish to be presented with full attention to detail in a well-considered setting.

It has since become one of Thailand’s most beloved summer delicacies, rich in artistry and culinary wisdom.

Delight in premium Thai Hom Mali rice, meticulously cooked and gently immersed in mineral water infused with jasmine blossoms and traditional Thai herbs, offering a cooling, fragrant refreshment in every bite. Served alongside a complete selection of royal-style accompaniments, each thoughtfully crafted in both flavour and texture. These include seasoned shrimp paste balls, shallots stuffed with grilled snakehead fish, sweet stir-fried preserved radish, the restaurant’s signature shredded pork, and banana peppers stuffed with prawns and wrapped in delicate golden egg lace.
