Green Nation คือกลุ่มบุคคลที่มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อปฏิรูปกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวกับกัญชาในประเทศไทย
Green Nation เกิดจากการรวมตัวกันของนิสิต-นักศึกษา ผู้มองหาแนวร่วมจากต่างมหาวิทยาลัย ทั้งในและต่างประเทศ เพื่อพบปะ พูดคุย แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น ร่วมกันศึกษา และสร้างแรงบันดาลใจแก่สังคมในการปรับปรุง แก้ไขกฎหมายเกี่ยวกับกัญชาและกัญชง เราเชื่อว่า การทำให้กัญชาถูกกฎหมาย จะส่งผลดีต่อภาคธุรกิจ สร้างงาน สร้างอาชีพแก่ป
ระชากรไทย ตลอดจนประชากรโลก นำมาซึ่งโอกาสอันดีในการขยายการศึกษา พัฒนาองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับกัญชา ปรับปรุงกฎหมายยาเสพติด พัฒนาระบบถนน รวมถึงประโยชน์อื่น ๆ
เราเห็นว่าประชาชนพึงมีสิทธิในการเข้าถึงพืชชนิดดังกล่าว ในฐานะยารักษาโรค และจะสนับสนุนการใช้ประโยชน์จากกัญชา ทั้งในวัตถุประสงค์เชิงสาธารณสุข และวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อผ่อนคลาย ซึ่งมีข้อพิสูจน์แล้วว่า ปลอดภัยกว่าสุราและยาสูบมาก
ทั้งนี้ เรายังเห็นว่า การปิดกั้นและสงครามยาเสพติด ไม่ก่อให้ประโยชน์ในระยะยาว ประโยชน์ดังกล่าวไม่ได้ตกแก่ประชาชนในวงกว้าง และยังทวีความรุนแรงของปัญหาอีกด้วย
เป้าหมายของเรา
1. ลดโทษทางอาชญากรรม ในกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวกับกัญชา
2. ทำให้กัญชาถูกกฎหมาย ทั้งสำหรับการใช้ในวัตถุประสงค์เชิงสาธารณสุข และวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อผ่อนคลาย
3. สร้างประโยชน์จากกัญชาในเชิงอุตสาหกรรม
4. ทำให้กัญชงถูกกฎหมาย สำหรับการใช้ในวัตถุประสงค์เชิงอุตสาหกรรม
5. กระตุ้นให้เกิดการศึกษา วิจัยอย่างกว้าง เพื่อพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ และความสามารถในการใช้ประโยชน์จากกัญชา
และจุดประสงค์หลักในการก่อตั้งเพจนี้ คือการเผยแพร่ความรู้ ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับกัญชา กระตุ้นให้เกิดความตื่นตัวที่จะปฏิรูปกฎหมายเกี่ยวกับกัญชาในประเทศไทยนั่นเอง เราจะนำเสนอข่าว การค้นพบ เรื่องราว และความเคลื่อนไหวต่าง ๆ อย่างสม่ำเสมอ
พันธกิจของเรา
รวบรวมกลุ่มผู้เห็นด้วย ทั้งในประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศ เพื่อให้เกิดความเคลื่อนไหวในทิศทางที่จะพัฒนากฎหมายเกี่ยวกับกัญชา อันจะกลายเป็นแรงกระเพื่อมภายในสังคม จากภายในสู่ภายนอกประเทศ เราเชื่อว่า นิสิต-นักศึกษา คนหนุ่มสาวเหล่านี้คือคลื่นลูกใหม่ในการพัฒนาประเทศ ภารกิจหลักของเราจึงเป็นการนำเสนอแง่มุมอื่น ๆ ของกัญชาสู่สาธารณชน ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่ความเคลื่อนไหวดังกล่าวในภายหลัง
วิสัยทัศน์ของเรา
สร้างความเคลื่อนไหวเพื่อปฏิรูปกฎหมายเกี่ยวกับกัญชา จากภายในสังคมไทย สู่สังคมโลก ทำให้กัญชาและกัญชงถูกกฎหมาย สถาปนา “รัฐสีเขียว” แห่งอนาคต

Green Nation is a non-government organization looking to reform the Thai Cannabis law. We are a group of university students in Thailand looking to connect different groups of students in different universities in Thailand and globally to meet, educate, and inspire the society about cannabis and hemp. We believe cannabis can be a whole new industry and will create lots of jobs for people in Thailand and the world in general. We support the research into the benefits of cannabis and believe that by legalizing it we can use this advantage to improve the education system, create better prison system, improve the road system, educate citizens on driving, and education people on each drugs. We believe people should have access to medical cannabis as an alternative to prescription drugs. We want to support cannabis as a medicine and also recreation use as a safer alternative to alcohol and tobacco. We believe prohibition and the war on drugs is damaging to the country and only benefiting a few. Our goal is to:
1. Decriminalize marijuana
2. Legalize both recreational and medical
3. Benefit from this new industry
4. Legalize hemp for industrial use
