Every day I wake up grateful to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Ao Nang is not just where I live — it’s where my heart learned to breathe again.
Here the mountains rise from the sea like giants, the mornings smell of salt and jungle, and the colors change every hour… always surprising you.
On my days off, I walk along Ao Nang Beach, or I take a longtail boat to the places that made me fall in love with this coast:
Railay Beach, with its cliffs touching the sky…
Poda Island, with sand so white it hurts your eyes…
Koh Hong, with that hidden lagoon that feels like another world…
Bamboo Island, where the water is so clear you forget reality…
and Klong Muang Beach, quiet, peaceful, a place that makes your soul slow down.
And somehow… I became part of all of this.
When I opened The Happy Porcupine, I didn’t imagine how strong the connection with this community would become.
Cooking here, serving people from all around the world, living surrounded by this beauty — it’s something that still feels like a dream every day.
I’m proud to live here.
I’m proud to work here.
And I’m proud that my little restaurant, built with love and courage, has become a small part of Krabi’s big, beautiful story.
This place changed my life…
and every dish I cook is a little “thank you” to this land, to its people, and to the beauty that surrounds us.
Thank You, Happy People!
