Place of Birth: Chiang Mai, Thailand
Since I can remember I was surrounded by market, kitchens and food. My grandmother had a food store in our local morning market and when l was really young my mum sold desserts and later sold vegetables in Chiang Mai city market. I guess that's why I am so attracted to the kitchen and food in general. In 1999, after my grandmother passed
away, I moved to Pai, Mae Hong Son with my son in 1999. In the beginning to open BeBe Cafe
Some of you may not know but that year in Pai was so cold! There was frost everywhere and not everyone had hot showers, but it was a great start for me with my new life.
2001 I started BeBe ok ’n Roll Cooking Course to teach tourists interested in Thai cooking.
2004 I created my own DVD and Thai Cooking Book. It was sold in Pai local bookshops, websites and Chiang Mai bookstores.
2005 February I moved to the UK and started working as a kitchen porter for 2 months. In July I start working as a trainee Chef at Rolls Royce Canteen. My job consisted of preparing and cooking hot and cold food.
2006 March I start working at La Gondola as second chef after Chef Gordon Ramsay went there to film The Kitchen Nightmare. Thank god I never met him
In May I started working at Moon Son Restaurant [Thai and Indian Restaurant]. I designed the kitchen, organized everything and did my certificate in Management. I was a Thai Chef and learned Indian cuisine from Uncle William, an Indian chef. I like Indian food because I traveled in India and Nepal for 4 months many years before. I often cook Indian food at home with a bottle of wine. It made me enjoy cooking something different after long hours of cooking at work. I knew that many of you also like to cook by yourself at home after a long day working. I hope my knowledge will crated a new chef in your own kitchen.
2006 October I start teaching Thai Cooking Classes for Derby City Council until September 2008, where I got achieves my teaching certificate
2007 March I worked as a chef for Day Hotel Derby I achieve Intermediate food health and Safety
2008 I started doing Thai Catering events at my client’s home
2009-2011 July I started Thom Yum Thai Catering in Derby and Nottingham area.
2011-2013 I worked at Breadsall Priory Marriot Hotel in Derby.
2014 I work as owner and chef at BeBe Spice. Giving Cooking Class at Wok ‘n’ Roll in Pai every winter. Teach and do catering in Nederland on low season. After that who’s know
