การตีความพื้นที่บทใหม่ จาก ‘แนวดิ่ง’ สู่ ‘แนวราบ’ ในบ้านไม้ร่วมสมัย
เมื่อโจทย์ของงานอินทีเรียคือการรับช่วงต่อจากสถาปัตยกรรมที่มีเอกลักษณ์ชัดเจนอย่าง Housescape Design Lab ซึ่งเป็นอาจารย์พิเศษในช่วงนึงของ TECTWADVIANG STUDIO สมัยมหาลัย การรับโจทย์ที่มาจากลูกค้าจริงการเข้าไปเติมเต็มจิตวิญญาณภายในให้ตอบโจทย์ผู้อยู่อาศัย โดยยังคงรักษาอัตลักษณ์ของงานสถาปัตยกรรม ฟังก์ชั่นและความชอบอันเป็นปัจเจกของผู้อยู่อาศัยให้เชื่อมโยงและกลมกลืนกัน
จาก Space สู่ Sense: เมื่อความสูงโปร่งมาเจอกับความอบอุ่น
เราเลือกเก็บความรู้สึกของหลังคาทรงจั่วสูงและเสาไม้สัก Solid ที่ดูอบอุ่นไว้ แล้วนำมาต่อยอดสู่การวางสัดส่วนสเกลเฟอร์นิเจอร์ การคำนวณมุมมองภายในที่เน้นความโปร่งตา (Airy) แต่ในขณะเดียวกันต้องให้ความรู้สึก ‘ใกล้ชิด’ เมื่อสมาชิกทุกคนในครอบครัวมาใช้งานร่วมกัน
เราใช้สูตรผสมทางสายตาแบบ 1:2 (White : Wood) เพื่อให้พื้นที่ภายในและภายนอกเชื่อมถึงกันอย่างเป็นหนึ่งเดียว เป็นความสามัญที่ทรงพลังและยั่งยืนในเชิงดีไซน์
การปรับตัวของฟังก์ชัน: 4 ชั้น สู่ 1 ชั้น
หัวใจสำคัญของงานหลังนี้คือการจัดการ "สัมภาระและของสะสม" เดิมของเจ้าของบ้านที่ย้ายจาก บ้านสูง 4 ชั้น ลงมาสู่พื้นที่ บ้านชั้นเดียวขนาด 650 ตร.ม.
เราให้ความสำคัญกับการออกแบบ Storage Solution ที่ต้องมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด
Invisible Storage: การแทรกและซ่อนตู้เก็บของไว้ตามผนังและห้องต่างๆ อย่างแนบเนียน เพื่อรองรับปริมาณของใช้มหาศาลโดยไม่รบกวนสายตา
Seamless Design: งานตู้ทุกใบถูกออกแบบโดยอิงเส้นสาย (Lines) และวัสดุตามตัวอาคารหลัก เพื่อให้เฟอร์นิเจอร์บิวท์อินดูเหมือนเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงสร้างสถาปัตยกรรมมาตั้งแต่ต้น
ผลลัพธ์ของงานนี้จึงไม่ใช่แค่ความสวยงามที่ "มากกว่าที่คิด" แต่คือพิสูจน์ของการทำงานร่วมกันที่ต้องอาศัยการตีความฟังก์ชันให้ลึกซึ้งที่สุด เพื่อให้บ้านหลังนี้ทำหน้าที่โอบกอดทุกคนในครอบครัวในวันที่อยู่กันพร้อมหน้า

Architectural Dialogue: A Journey from Vertical to Horizontal
This project is more than just an interior commission; it is a creative handover between Housescape Design Lab—the mentor who once shared their wisdom in university—and TECTWADVIANG STUDIO. Taking on a real-world client through this unique partnership required a deep respect for the architectural foundation, while delicately weaving in the personal lifestyle and soul of the residents.
From Space to Sense: Where Airiness Meets Warmth
We preserved the cathedral-like scale of the high gable roof and the solid teak columns to maintain a sense of warmth. Our challenge was to translate this "airiness" into a "closeness" for the family.
By applying a 1:2 Visual Ratio (White to Wood), we bridged the gap between the interior and the exterior, creating a timeless, honest aesthetic that feels like a natural extension of the architecture.
The Functional Transition: 4 Floors to 1 Level
The heart of this design lies in the logistics of life. The homeowners moved their history and memories from a 4-story vertical residence into this 650 sq.m. single-story home. To accommodate a vast collection of belongings without compromising the minimalist architecture, we focused on two key principles:
Invisible Storage: Efficient storage units are "dissolved" into the walls across various rooms, handling high-volume storage while remaining completely out of sight.
Seamless Design: Every cabinetry line and material choice was derived from the architect’s original structural language, ensuring the built-ins feel like part of the building itself, rather than an after-thought.
Beyond Design: A Harmonious Proof
The final result is more than just a space that looks better than the renders. it is a proof of deep functional interpretation. It is a home that seamlessly blends Thai, Lanna, and Japanese influences into a singular, cozy sanctuary, designed to embrace every family member when they come together.
