I go to this restaurant every time I take some holiday in Koh Chang. The location is not a problem, when you want good food, you go to a good restaurant. I have tried the bruschetas which are delicious crispy and make you full if you are really hungry, and if you take the mixed plate you will be surprised to have some blue cheese bruschetas... not easy to find in Thailand, specially in a small island!
I have also tested 2 salads, the caprese - they asked me if I want capers which I approved, since most Italians restaurants do not even know what capers are in Thailand! - that was delicious as well, and I also checked the tomato mozarella salad that is a bit expensive but the balsamic dressing was delicious. I recommend this salad if you want some fresh vegetable and you like tomatoes.
I checked one pizza but I asked some sort of custom style, hawaiwan with pinapple, but with anchovies, and one egg on the top. They were ok to give a try to my experimentation. I noticed that they had great quality anchovies, not too salted.
I haven't tasted the pasta, but I guess they are also very good, there is no reason it won't be at the same level the rest of the menu. The restaurant is very clean, the toilets are spacious and you can see that a lot of effort is made by the staff to satisfy the customers.
I have also talk with the owner, who is a very smart Thai woman, she is totally driven by the passion for her restaurant so I think that if you think something is wrong, just talk to her and she will do her best to improve the recipe.
I like the place specially because it is cozy, warm, the waitresses are smiling (one of them is cute to die for, worth the visit alone!) and the food is worth the price.
In my opinion the best Italian on Koh Chang.
Note: I cannot imagine that the 2 bad reviews are legit (or they are maybe made by some trolls having restaurants on Koh Chang like Lisca and shooting at this excellent restaurant in the back). Giving 1 star to such a good restaurant simply doesn't make sense, even if the people are in a bad mood, I ate there several time and I got the exact same quality and the same service and it is definitively worth the 5* I give. Read my other reviews to see that I do not give 5* easily.

Highly recommended, amazing authentic thin italian pizza. I had the four cheese, great to get a heavy dose of top quality dairy in thailand. Friends had homemade ravioli which was very tasty. Really reasonable prices, attentive and smiley service and really nice setting. Friendly and deligent owners. If your staying in kae bae pay them a visit.

Очень понравился ресторан. Правда были уже больше полгода назад, но прекрасные воспоминания остаются до сих пор! Вкуснейшие пицца, паста. Очень понравились равиоли! Просто бомба! Хозин и хозяйка очень радушные и предупредительные люди! Мы с женой остались в восторге от вкусных блюд и обслуживания. Хозян похож на пирата! :) С нетерпением ждем отпуска, когда сможем снова там покушать!

my wife and I eat there twice during our recent 6 day stay in Koh Chang, food was very good and the service was attentive without being over bearing , I got quite friendly with Kevin (the owner) who is Scottish and being from Wales we hit it off quite well
I would rate this as 9/10 for food quality , service and value well worth a visit
