Thanks to all the SPANGLISH crew, who brought the vibe to Cabana Koh Chang last night. Big shout out to Tony Roberts, Spencer Guainiere & Barry Ashworth for sorting this. Big ups to all the djs for playing some of the best tunes i’ve not heard in decades: droid-hypnosis, aly-us - follow me, fsol - papua new guinea and talking heads - once in a lifetime all stood out for me amongst many more.
I was running around most the night making sure the drinks kept flowing but i was dancing inside. We did manage to make a few videos tho.

So we've just reached 4K followers!
I guess not a massive number by todays social standards but it’s 💯 organic so we’re feeling rather proud, after 5 years running the business through bad times and good.
When we bought cabana it was just over 1 year old, and closed as covid first wave was just passing .
The 2021 second covid wave hit hard so we couldn’t really startup until 2022, and even then there was a lot of papers and quarantine for holidaymakers to make it super busy.
2023 things went better until we were informed we must leave the old premises early 2024, luckily we had forewarning and was able to make a deal on the White Knot Resort beach & buildings, where we reside now.
So last season was about reestablishing cabana in it new home on the beach in Kai Bae bay, and this year was supposed to be the big one, but the border conflict hit and as we can see it has effected the season somewhat.
But we do love it so much here, it’s not just a business, but a way of life, surrounded by similar people and similar stories. So we continue the plan and already talking ideas for season 26/27.
