Today, the people of Thailand mourn the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, a public figure widely admired for her discipline, dedication, and commitment to the rule of law and the pursuit of justice.
Born on December 7, 1978, Her Royal Highness was the eldest daughter of His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn. Despite her royal status, she chose a path devoted to legal studies and public service, focusing on issues affecting women, prisoners, and disadvantaged communities. Her work consistently reflected a commitment to improving access to justice and creating opportunities for those often overlooked by society.
Those who had the privilege of working with Her Royal Highness often spoke of her diligence, attention to detail, and genuine interest in engaging directly with the people she served. Images of her visits to correctional facilities, local communities, and various public initiatives became familiar to many Thais and reflected her dedication to service.
