Salt Cellar for Fleur de Sel 🌊✨

The blue clay symbolizes the sea, while the coarse white chamotte in the clay reflects the delicate texture of fine salt. The crystalline details in the glaze enhance the play of light and represent salt crystals captured in ceramic form.

This salt cellar is a tribute to fleur de sel - a precious gift of the sea that brings together nature, tradition, and contemporary design.

I am happy to share that this piece was selected for the accompanying exhibition From Traditional to Contemporary Ceramics - The Story of the Salt Cellar, presented as part of the 6th International Ceramic Triennial UNICUM 2026, taking place from May 22 to September 12, 2026, at the Graslov stolp Exhibition Space in Slovenska Bistrica, Slovenia.

Solnica za solni cvet 🌊✨

Modra glina simbolizira morje, grob bel šamot v glini pa spominja na nežno teksturo drobne soli. Kristalčki v glazuri dodatno poudarjajo igro svetlobe in predstavljajo kristale soli, ujete v keramiki.

Ta solnica je poklon solnemu cvetu - dragocenemu daru morja, ki združuje naravo, tradicijo in sodobno oblikovanje.

Z veseljem sporočam, da je moja solnica bila izbrana za spremljevalno razstavo Od tradicionalne do sodobne keramike - Zgodba o solnici, ki bo v okviru VI. mednarodnega trienala keramike UNICUM 2026 potekala med 22. majem in 12. septembrom 2026 v Razstavišču Graslov stolp v Slovenski Bistrici.
