In Japan, sake has long been part of celebratory traditions. Sumo champions are often seen marking their victories with ceremonial sake, symbolising strength, honour, and triumph.

The custom of drinking a generous serving of sake from an oversized ceremonial bowl during special occasions symbolises blessings for long life, prosperity, courage, and shared joy. Long associated with purification and festive spirit, sake makes a meaningful toast to the year ahead.

Challenge Rules:
1. The sake must be finished in one go (bottoms up).
2. If the Sake Challenge is not completed, a charge of $68 will apply.
3. The Birthday Sake Challenge is strictly for the guest celebrating his or her birthday. Sharing of the sake, including any unfinished portion remaining in the oversized bowl, is not permitted.
