Today is the day that Myanmar Specialty Coffee is available for the first time in SG history.

is serving the Single Origin Yay Win. Cultivated at 1,601 masl in the mountainous area of Ywangan in the Southern Shan State of Myanmar, its is the highest community in the area perched on top a mountain. To access the community, one needs to climb by foot or bike sections of the ascend. By foot it would take approximately 45min to 1 hour of climbing.

Yay Win is a Natural Processed Catuai Varietal amongst the Top 3 cupping lots this year with Q Graders attributing it an averaged quality score of 88.3.It’s a Microlot with only 30 acres of coffee grown and producing only 800kg.

Tasting notes: Sweet black and blueberry fruit tart, hibiscus and orange blossom floral, consisting of comforting warm notes of a caramel nougat chocolate bar and a jammy body.

For the first time ever in Singapore history Myanmar Specialty Coffee hit our shores and served only to consumers .

Thanks to our friends for making this possible, we are so excited about this collaboration.

Myanmar Specialty Coffee surpassing in quality year on year. Just less than 3 years ago, you will hardly find one qualifying for specialty-grade. Since then, quality has grown leaps and bounds with each year surpassing the previous and now 90 and above coffee are within reach. The highest coffee lot attained this year scored 89.58.
