It has been a year since Lepark shuttered our sliding doors.

It has been a year 😱

How’s everyone?
How has your year been?

One of the new “thang” we are creating is a community stories platform. Digital O2O yo!
We have gotten so many stories since the opening and we want to keep the stories flowing.

What’s your Lepark story?
Who did you ?

My O my, almost sounds like a old class/CNY/wedding gathering question 😂

But seriously, we believe many want to hear your stories as we do.

The last 12 months, we have been lepark-ing with our favourite residential cat - 肥猫 Feimao

It felt like a lifetime passed during the times WE (that’s you and us) spent together up at a rooftop.

You made Lepark possible. Thank you, our dear Leparkers.

What a ride it has been, from concerts to fund raisers, live independent music to quirky arts perfomances, strangers to friends.

We are not done yet and we are preparing for Lepark ❤️.0

肥猫 Feimao has been combing through new hoods and directing us via catty sense.

Sometimes we wonder who’s the boss?

But we do know that wherever 肥猫 Feimao decides to Lepark, something great would happen.

Where would you like to Lepark at?

East side?
West side?

肥猫 Feimao always had a dream, that wherever 肥猫 Feimao chooses to lepark, tight communities with form, people will give back, friendships will bloom and life will prosper.

It will be a safe place for you to be the you that you were created to be.

So.. what happened to 肥猫 Feimao and entourage the last one year?

Our good friend, Yue Han (YH), sums it up:

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

We believe that Lepark represents the child in all of us that when we reach a destination, it prepares us for the next desination in our life journey.

We believe that that Lepark exists in all our neighbourhoods because its the outcome when caring hearts and wonderful souls gather to lepark.

An end, is merely, the start of the next beginning. Never a farewell, just an intermission before coming together again :)

LEPARK IS CLOSING OUR DOORS ON 30 SEPTEMBER

What an amazing 3 years we have had at People’s Park Complex rooftop, from the first Getai Electronica (with Getai Group) rooftop gig in 2015, till the soulful jazz night we had last night; Lepark has (we hope) in a way or another brought back some of the Singaporean soul & identity to this city that we love. What a miracle it has been to collectively transform this sleepy carpark rooftop into a light of this city.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the skies; Lepark has to move out of our current location and our last day of business operation is till 30 September. (Reasons beyond our control).

We have had our fair share of laughter, singing, dancing and building families/communities here and are throwing a big farewell gig over the next few weekends. Check back on this page on the different community nights that we are having! If anyone wanna collab with us on the final few parties, get in touch. We would love to hear from everyone who has played such a huge part in building the Lepark family.

Where will we go? We have no idea too, many doors are opened, but we want to choose a door that makes sense for all of us – and a safe space that you guys will all wanna call home. We’ll keep yall posted, if anyone has any ideas on how to work together, write to us too!

p/s: It will be business as usual from now till 30 Sept, so do come by, have dinner, grab a drink, watch one last music session or come give our bartender a hug before our last song!
