The result was Bonchon, which suitingly means “my hometown” in Korean. Our very first Bonchon Chicken restaurant opened in 2002 in Busan, Korea, before spreading its wings to other parts of Seoul. With our first overseas location in Leonia and spreading to other cities in San Francisco, New York, Manila, Bangkok and more, Bonchon finally hits Singapore with its first restaurant opened in 2011.
