IT’S NEVER EASY TO SAY GOODBYE.
After almost eleven unforgettable years, Red Eye Smokehouse will be closing its doors on Saturday, 4 July 2026.
Back in 2015, American barbecue was still relatively unfamiliar to many in Singapore. What started as a dream to introduce authentic low-and-slow barbecue to local diners grew into something far greater than we could ever have imagined.
From smoking meats and pouring craft beers to explaining that the dark bark on a brisket was a sign of good barbecue rather than burnt food, Red Eye was built on a simple belief:
Eating is Believing.
We made our sauces, rubs and recipes from scratch, sourced the best ingredients we could find, and worked hard to make great barbecue approachable and enjoyable for everyone.
Over the years, Red Eye became more than just a barbecue restaurant. It became a place for birthdays, date nights, reunions, celebrations and friendships — and sometimes simply a place to unwind after a long day with good food, cold beers and great company.
Many of you first visited as customers and stayed as friends. Some of you have been with us almost since the beginning — and you know who you are. For that, we will always be grateful.
As we approach the end of our lease, we have made the difficult decision to close this chapter.
Over the coming weeks, we hope you’ll join us one last time. Come by for your favourite brisket, raise a glass with us, and celebrate nearly eleven incredible years of Red Eye Smokehouse.
To every guest, team member, supplier, partner and friend who has been part of this journey — thank you for helping us build something truly special.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Willa Wong
