There are many ways to enjoy Korean BBQ, but the most traditional is 𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗺 (쌈) — a wrap meant to be enjoyed in a single bite.

It begins at the grill, where our team prepares each cut tableside with care. From there, it moves onto a fresh perilla leaf — layered with ssamjang, garlic, aged white kimchi, and perhaps a spoonful of rice.

Wrapped neatly and enjoyed in one perfect bite. A quiet ritual where texture, heat, and balance come together.

Join us at the table and experience Korean BBQ as it is meant to be.

No Korean barbecue meal truly ends without cold noodles. In Korea, it is a customary finish — a bowl served after the grill, offering balance and a gentle cleanse of the palate before you leave.

𝗝𝗶𝗻𝗷𝘂 𝗡𝗮𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗺𝘆𝗲𝗼𝗻 (진주냉면) traces its origins to the city of Jinju, where a deeper beef broth and generous toppings define its character. At The House Chungdam, we carry this tradition forward, serving it with yukjeon, pear, cucumber, and radish kimchi.

Some enjoy it midway through the meal to refresh the palate and continue, while others prefer it at the end — light, cooling, and satisfying without leaving you overly full.

Available for lunch and dinner.

If it’s your first visit to The House Chungdam, we strongly recommend beginning with 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁.

Curated for two and above, it brings together the best of our signature beef and pork cuts, each offering a balance of fat and lean.

The experience is complemented with the essentials of a Korean BBQ; a choice of our specialty jjigae, steamed egg, and a spread of seven house-made banchan served alongside dipping sauces to match each cut.

If you’re new to this, our team prepares the meats tableside and guides you through the wraps, showing you how each combination is meant to be enjoyed.

Before the grill is lit, before the first cut reaches the table, the experience has already begun.

Step into The House Chungdam and you will feel it. The space draws from traditional Korean homes, where Hanji paper, natural wood and stone shape a room that feels grounded and calm. Touches of royal yellow, once reserved for nobility, lend the space a quiet sense of prestige.

Look a little closer and you may notice fish motifs woven into the details. In Korean culture, they symbolise abundance and continuity — a reminder of what a shared table represents.

Here, the space sets the tone for the meal that follows.

Our Potato Jeon is a tribute to the mountains of Gangwon Province, where Korea’s most prized potatoes are grown. Flown directly to Singapore, they are shredded and pan-fried to achieve a delicate contrast: a crisp, golden exterior with a soft, fluffy heart.

To complete the dish, we serve it with a light soy dipping sauce infused with onion and jalapeño—an addition that provides a bright, sharp counterpoint without masking the potato’s natural sweetness.

Discover the honest flavours of the Korean countryside, refined for the Duxton table.

There is a simple joy in the classics, when done with care.

Our Red Bean Shaved Ice stays true to tradition, featuring 100% housemade red bean paste and finely shaved milk ice. The addition of roasted soybean powder adds a nutty depth, offering a cooling contrast to the warmth of the grill.

An understated sweetness to conclude your journey.

𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 calls for gathering with intention. This month at The House Chungdam, we mark the season with two special feasts and a new festive addition.

𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 — 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗨𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟱 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 ♥️
An evening for two, built around our signature cuts and the quiet warmth of the grill — where conversation lingers well into the night.

𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 T𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘆 — 𝗥𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘀 (𝟮 𝗼𝗿 𝟰 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀)
Built around the rhythm of Korean BBQ; grill, wrap, dip, share, with house cuts and accompaniments that let every guest create their own perfect bite.

Both experiences are served with our house-made Banchan and traditional Korean Jjigae.

For this season, we are also introducing a limited-time 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 (𝗧𝘁𝗲𝗼𝗸𝗴𝘂𝗸), a dish traditionally enjoyed at the start of the new year, available for this festive period only.

Should the evening call for a little more, additional selections are always available.

We welcome you to gather with us this February.

There is a distinct clarity to dry-aged meat that you can’t rush.

By aging our signature cuts in-house, we allow nature to do the heavy lifting. The flavours become more robust, and the texture takes on a buttery softness that defines the Chungdam experience.

Whether it’s the rich marbling of our Master Grade Wagyu or the clean finish of our Prestige Reserve Duroc, the difference is felt from the very first bite.

Jjigae is one of the most enduring dishes in Korean cooking — a stew built on fermented pastes, everyday ingredients, and generations of home cooking.

At The House Chungdam, it’s prepared the traditional way and served in a ttukbaegi (Korean earthenware pot), where it continues to simmer gently throughout the meal, allowing the broth to come together gradually at the table.

Our menu features jjigae in several expressions, from Kimchi Jjigae to Soybean Jjigae — each rooted in tradition, yet distinct in character.

A quiet constant at the table. Reservations via link in bio.
