Looking out the window tonight down the alleyway from our home, we remember the many late night walks home, after staying all night at the shop, researching and churning new recipes.
Those peaceful nights, so quiet, the world asleep while our hearts beating, eager to know if people would like our new flavors. Like the catch phrase we may have overused, “ what’s churning?”
Days were long, earnings were modest but we were happy getting out of our comfort zone doing what we love.
It wasn’t just making happy food with our hands that were fulfilling. It was the many friendships forged and a thousand smiles exchanged with one another, all in our tiny shop ( now a licensed money lender shop). It was this and that. Well, “this and that” brought the very best out of us everyday as human beings.
This post was written with a genuine desire we have to say hi to everyone. Hi! Wherever you are now, hope all is well and joy continues to fill your hearts.
